Another one of Puerto Vallarta’s best kept secrets! For appetizers, I definitely recommend the cream soup, shrimp empanadas, and crab tacos. They were soooooo flavorful. For your entree, it’s the fried red snapper with garlic sauce. Excellent portions, exceptional service and attentive staff, and best of all, it’s family-owned. Skip The Malecón restaurants tonight and give this local gem a try. You won’t regret it.

Amazing restaurant right on the corner in a local neighbourhood, quite close to the 5D Market. Friendly staff, seems to be family run. David was a great host and bartender, and he spoke English! The shrimp ceviche was amazing; tasted delicious, huge portion and made right on the spot in front of us. I will definitely be back to eat more good food and support their clean and well kept business 🙂

Absolutely amazing find for fresh authentic seafood in PV. The service is over the top and the food is worth every peso! Did I mention the cost is very little pesos for how tasty and great it was?
Will absolutely keep coming back when in PV!

We were warmly welcomed and seated immediately. Margaritas are on point! House made salsa was fantastic. We all shared the fresh and delicious guacamole. I had the sea bass fillet which was excellent. My son has the seafood casserole which had a bit of everything and was amazing. Hubby had the pulpo which was also fantastic. Everything was perfect except the entertainment. We were tricked into buying $400 pesos worth of songs because the price wasn’t made clear. Because of this, it’s unlikely I will ever support performers like this again for worry of being hustled. I wasn’t going to argue or make a scene. But I won’t get fooled again and although the musicians didn’t work for the restaurant, they endorse them by having them inside their business. I do love the restaurant itself and have nothing but praise for the food, drink, and service.

Amazing place! We loved Mariscos!! Wait staff was incredibly attentive, the aguachiles and fish soup were incredible, and the drinks were lovely and strong! My husband said it’s the best soup he’s ever had in his life!!
It’s off of the beaten path, but PLEASE go here! It’s amazing!

Local establishment with history. A large assortment of fresh seafood they are happy to show you before preparation. The food was fresh and healthy! Vibes felt incongruent with the atmosphere and location: upscale, but dated. I recieved saltine crackers for the salsa and garlic bread with my fish because I was a gringo. I appreciated the hospitality, but came for an authentic experience and would recommend this option only for gringos with niños.

Fresh and tasty food , friendly and welcoming service: highly recommended. (In order, a sampler of what is fresh and available, yummiest guacamole in PV, a tasty fish soup, a local take on tuna sashimi, and a mouth-watering grilled fish medallion wrapped in bacon.)

Got the grilled red snapper on Francisco’s recommendation and it was yummy. It was cooked right, not over cooked so you can enjoy the taste of the fish. The side rice and vegetables were a good accompaniment. The garlic bread was a nice addition and the chili oil is lovely, it has a slow heat that comes in nice and strong as it coats your mouth.
