Fantastic place! We had chicken tacos and the camarón Cancun. Chicken was so flavorful and had perfect char, the shrimp was amazing with great veggies and a perfect sauce. Salsa was great and had a margarita with great flavor. Will definitely be back!

Hands down best Mexican restaurant in Tacoma area, if you are exploring this place is a MUST GO!
The environment is amazing, staff is extremely attentive and knowledgeable, food is wonderful and the drinks are top notch. I haven’t yet found a better Mexican place in Lakewood/Tacoma area.
The food can be pricey but the experience makes it worth it.
The chips and salsa are amazing. They also are very inclusive and offer a vegetarian option (with the Impossible meat).

We came here to celebrate one of our co workers thats become family. We did have a small issue with finding our reservation. We were sat and immediately taken care of our server was very patient as we were waiting for one last person in our party to show up. He brought us chips & salsa & our drinks. The Cadillac margaritas are so yummy with chamoy & tajin around the rim. I had the enchiladas Verde w/ steak it was delicious. This location can get busy especially on Friday nights so I would recommend making a reservation.

One of the best Birria tacos I’ve ever had. Everything was perfectly balanced and none of the flavors overpower each other.
I didn’t spend too much time here so I don’t have much to say. The restaurant looks nicely decorated and the staff is welcoming. Parking is a bit of an issue though – place definitely needs more spaces.

Our server was very attentive. The ambience of the dining area was especially welcoming and somewhat ethereal. The drinks were good just not as strong as I would have liked. The chance to order Birria from the menu I did especially love.. (shameless plug)

Have always loved Moctezums’s! Stopped in today for a late lunch and sat in the bar. Had the absolute best time meeting Kimberly our server. Best personality, friendly, knowledgeable….I literally could go on!!!!

This restaurant is always busy because they have excellent food. We waited about 15 minutes. The atmosphere is wonderful. You think that you were in a wisteria garden. Out with friends. We had dinner. The salad is fresh, has a nice presentation, and has a great variety of contents in the salad…beautiful and wonderful tasting. Street tacos were good, too.
The booths are a little cramped, so get a table if someone in your party is tall or big.

I’ve tried many of their dishes. Personally, I have not had one bad dish. Service has always been good for my experience. Usually I sit at the bar, though. Everybody’s taste buds is different, however. So my best advice for a newcomer is just to try it for yourselves. Again, I have been treated very well every time I go here. And I come to eat quite often. Once a week.

We just finished an early dinner with family, including grandma! What a great meal! The chicken/shrimp fajitas were delicious. My husband thoroughly enjoyed the carne asada. And those homemade corn tortillas??? Phenomenal!!!
I’d also like to recognize Blanca, our waitress. What a sweet lady! Service was wonderful. She was attentive, very friendly, and made sure that grandma received her order of flan when we got our meals because when grandma wants dessert for dinner, grandma gets dessert for dinner!
We hadn’t been here in many, many years, but it did not disappoint. In fact, we were expecting just a mediocre meal like any other chain restaurant, however tonight’s dinner far exceeded our expectations. Highly recommend!

Love this place. Great food, service, and ambiance. I’m a creature of habit so I tend to lean towards fajitas and margaritas; this place has both and they’re GREAT *tony the tiger voice*. This is also a place I like to take family and friends when they come to visit. Great chips and salsa and on the weekends you can see a woman (who reminds me of mi abuelita) making fresh tortillas right near the front.
