My wife tried this with me for the first time today and it was so good! We tried the new $6 box with the three chicken tenders a biscuit and two sides and added a drink. My wife loved the Cajun mashed potatoes. The chicken strips were tender and the food was made fresh and delicious. We dined in. We will be back, it was great.

The quality of the Kingsport Popeyes food is extremely below subpar. I have had better and fresher Popeyes chicken on military bases in the middle of a combat zone in Baghdad, Iraq. Why they would serve old chicken that is as hard a a rock, I will never understand. This chicken is so hard and nasty I would not even give it to my dog. They should really be ashamed. Next, every time I go to this location they get my order wrong. I have tried to even order ahead, but my order is always wrong or something is missing. I have gotten tired of calling and going back every single time. I have been a super fan of Popeyes chicken since the late 80s. I am not sure if this place could be retrained, but I can say if I want more Popeyes, I will drive to JC.

Afternoon, ordered Doordash Today 1/4/26 and the driver arrived 2 min after order placed of 2 chicken sandwiches. The driver stated they were waiting on order and 22 min later said they received order and was taking photos, communicating with me. I was also following the driver on app and noticing they were there a very long time. When driver delivered food they stated that they tried to give them the wrong order and said they’re still working on it. Said about 6-7 people employees just standing around and numerous people waiting. This isn’t the first time it’s been way late not due to driver but even when I go into location I have to wait way more than it takes to cook chicken, I’ve been in restaurant business for over 20 yrs and this location in Kingsport TN is the worst customer service I’ve ever seen from Popeyes. I would believe this isn’t up to company standards and I’d rather lose a $2/piece of chicken then lose a customer. After reading reviews I will not go back to this location as ill order KFC or Nick’s in Kingsport. Thanks

This is a Wonderful place to dine in or carryout. Clean, polite employees. I ordered off of the app and it sent it to Bristol. I went to Kingsport to pick it up and they Gave me my meal. I had already paid for it

Manager was very rude here at Kingsport TN location didn’t want to handle the bad food we got the night before in drive through. She basically told me that me and my wife didn’t talk to her and she didn’t know what to do about it , cause she couldn’t find my number or name written down . She replaced order but took 36 minutes wait to get food everyone from drive through and inside was able to get service and we had to wait on something we already bought and had bad experience there .
So sad of day that fast food and good service isn’t out there with quality workers .

Went through the drive thru to get the 6.99 shrimp tackle box that is being very heavily advertised, was informed that they were out of the butterfly shrimp and ask if i would like the popcorn shrimp instead, said it came with 2 chicken tenders also, fries and a biscuit and a small drink . I was NOT informed i was getting and paying for a combo meal , so i ordered a small red beans and rice also. I pull up to the window to pay and it was 16.73 , with reluctance i payed for my order and left . The popcorn shrimp was so hard it was not edible. If your restaurant is going to advertise a certain item , then make sure you have more than enough of the advertised items on hand , excuse me but that is business 101 fyi , 2nd make sure your employees inform the customer that the item they are offering in place of the out of stock item ordered is priced significantly higher and is by no means a better value . This location has just lost a loyal and long time customer. Good luck with your very deceptive business practices!
