Just moved to town & my boss had all of us order from the igloo. I was caught off guard when placing the order because the woman taking the order was really rude. We had 3 burgers, a sandwich, cheese fries, 2 fries, 4 drinks. Both my boss and 2 coworkers were standing there when I called the order in and they confirmed I said everything correct. When my boss arrived back with the food, the fries were missing. I offered to run back and get them. When I entered, the rude old woman who took my order greeted the man behind me and served him. When she was done she just looked at me. I told her who the order was under and that we were missing fries. They have a plexiglass up and it’s kinda hard to hear, but based off the fact she was arguing with me and she felt the need to shove the ticket on the window to prove to me “I didn’t ask for it” was enough for me. A nicer woman with white hair tried to talk to me but at that point I walked out and left as I had had enough with the original woman and her disgusting attitude. I decided to leave before making the situation worse. The food is really good, but I will NOT support this business. Not a good first impression for a new neighbor what so ever!!!!

Though I have been going here for years now and the food is awesome, and for the most part the staff is friendly. My daughter and I went here on Sunday, and there is one lady that takes orders, who is unfriendly and is always rude to me, and was extremely rude to my daughter who was just asking questions about the food. I might suggest that dealing with the public is not for her. Because in past years I have been going because my 82 year old Father loves when I get him a burger and Strawberry milkshake. I regret that I will not be going back after this weekend. I can deal with her being rude to me “which she has been everytime I go in” but to be rude to my daughter who was here from out of town and just asked a question. I’m done.. I will miss the food, and so will my dad. But there is no reason to speak to people like that especially one who comes in often.

Used to stop here all the time years ago when we used to go up to my buddy’s parents place at White Top. I bet I have stopped here a dozen times and I always get the same thing [and the only place I have ever seen this item]….BOSTON SHAKE. It’s a mini sundae plopped on top of a milkshake!!!! Seriously???!!! I’m so all in. The large is HUGE. They have several cool covered picnic tables in back. You walk in……you order…..no sit down.

Wouldn’t recommend eating here. There was an eyelash in my food and when I called about it they gave me an attitude and when I was ordering they told me I needed to speak louder or not order at all in a loud and rude tone and they are not very clean workers also not a clean building. No gloves or hairnets and the place is overall rude and disrespectful to their customers. Lucky to have 1 star.

I am 61 so I am old. This place had the absolute rudest older woman!!! Unbelievably hateful!! There were two young girls there and all three acted like my wife and I and several other customers were just an inconvenience to them! If you hate your job why don’t you find one that you like. We waited 10-15 minutes for our turn in line and saw no customers rude or aggravated. The woman was rude to a man whose order they got wrong and to us. Ice cream was good but you can get Hershey’s at alot of places. I certainly will not waste my time or money here again. We try to patronize small businesses when we can but not this one again. Stop where they appreciate you. We haven’t stopped here in years but try to when we go up hwy 16 from Wilkesboro to the parkway. Not again. You basically have 1 chance to make a 1st impression and they failed!!!!!

We moved to the Miller’s Creek area about two years ago, but had previously driven past the igloo several times. While renovating our house it was a staple meal. I’m a hot dog fan and really like their dogs and their crinkle fries are always piping hot and crispy!
