Let me start by saying that the food that they put in our bag was fantastic. However, the last two times I have ordered from here, I have not received all of my food that I paid for. Both times I ordered side orders to take to school the next day as I am a retired veteran/local school teacher. My wife was also missing parts of her order. The last two times I called, I get an apology and a refund for the food that I ordered or a gift certificate for the food we ordered and did not receive. So here is the issue.
As a customer should I be overjoyed that I got my money back for food that I ordered and was hoping to enjoy and had to do without when I relied on this business to fill my order? Also, theft is theft. If I walked into the general store and walked out with a candy bar and didn’t pay for it, it would not be acceptable. If I then did it again, I would probably be banned from the business. However, this is what occurred in my instance. Just passing along, because I hope Cracker Barrel can improve their process locally to ensure people are not getting ripped off. They work really hard for their money as do I, and in these difficult times it’s even more important.

All the staff is so warm and welcoming as soon as you enter the door. I love shopping around for beautiful gifts if we need to wait for a table. 99% of the time they seat us right away. Then of coarse I have to finishing my shopping after dining. They have such amazing and unique ideas for your family members and friends. They have a wonderful line of children’s clothing and toys. The atmosphere is warm and welcoming! Every server we have had ,has been outstanding and kind! The food is delicious! We never had a bad meal yet. Cracker Barrel is a must to try! I’ve been going to this Cracker Barrel since they opened when I was growing up. To this day, the service is always wonderful, the food is delicious, and it’s always enjoyable to shop around after eating. We once had an issue with part of our breakfast meal and the server promptly had the food replaced. The manager on duty also came out to apologize and make sure everything else was okay. This is a spot we frequent and will continue to visit.

Love the mimosa! Good taste great. The server was kind. Some meals the portions are way too small. (See the catfish pic) The prices keep going up. Sadly, it was $64 for 3 adults.

Stopped by here today….very nice waitress, and I was able to get a seat and order quickly. Food came out prompt, was fresh and delicious. I ordered the smallest breakfast platter (old timers breakfast) and added Pancakes and OJ. Price and quality cannot be beat at this cracker barrel. I have been to other locations in NJ and NY and this is pretty on par with the Jackson township (near six flags) location.

I ordered to go, two dinners. Presentation was awful. It took forever and the other wasn’t correct. Called manager once I got home and realized this. He was not apologetic and lacked any sincerety, he said I can get a free meal. He sounded like he was half asleep wasn’t even going to take my name until I asked him?? “So you want my name”? I went and ordered a meal a few months after when I was in the area. Took 20 minutes to just order and store staff were snoody and not engaging or anything, I just stood there. Server was great that took order, only positive about rootstown cracker barrel. I went to pay and had to explain to cashier again that I had a complimentary meal and salad. They had to get manager and he “approved it”. Again manager was half asleep and in no hurry to assist. Did not even acknowledge me or apologize. I waited another 20 minutes to get my food and cashier was again snoody and not engaging. The presentation of food was awful and cold. You need a real manager and way better attitudes training. I will not go back, awful place that does not run smoothly and most staff including manager were horrible. I have photos but site won’t let me attach, no surprise considering my experience was terrible. Not at all pleases.

Had breakfast , eggs wee done right which is good . Gravy was good. Biscuits were ok but so small. Having said that, you can ask for more. I asked for crisp bacon and it came limp, but I sent it back and it came back fine in timely manner. I will definitely go back. Was seated quickly, was waited on in timely manner.

Country fried Turkey was very good. Every side was either cold or hard. Mashed potatoes were hard. Terrible!

We met my brother here for breakfast while traveling through.
Though they were busy they were able to seat us immediately.
Our waitress Kylie was very knowledgeable about the menu items and offered helpful tips.
I was impressed with the fast service and the roll was absolutely delicious.
The catfish and eggs in a basket are a must order items.
Again, Kylie provided excellent service even though she was busy. I suggest Kylie for employee of the month.
