Tried Skinny Louie’s for lunch and overall enjoyed it, but I personally don’t feel it’s worth a return trip. The burgers taste good, but I definitely recommend ordering a double—otherwise you’ll probably leave hungry.
There’s a sign saying you can’t substitute anything, and it would be nice if you could at least add items. My wife wanted to add onions, but that wasn’t an option. Not a dealbreaker, just something to note.
We both ordered the Applewood burger, and I was surprised by how little bacon it came with—about half a slice of regular bacon cut into two small pieces. The fries were good though: not greasy and cooked just right. The sauce was an extra charge (a little over $1 for a small amount), but they’ll give it to you for free if you write a review.
Customer service was great—the person who took our order was super friendly. The place was clean inside, and they also offer outdoor seating. However, they really need more umbrellas outside. The trees directly above the seating area are full of birds, and they tend to “drop” things onto the tables. Luckily, we ended up at a table with enough coverage.
Overall, I’d rate it a 7 out of 10. I definitely enjoyed my lunch, but it’s not a place I feel the need to return to.

We walked in around 10 pm and were greeted by a super friendly group of employees! Seating was easy to find any the menu was super easy to choose from. We chose the Single Smash Apple Wood Bacon Burgers which were absolutely amazing! Definitely getting a double next time! We also did not think twice about ordering the shakes! Choco Brownie and Cookies and cream. Both equally as good as the other made fresh with bits off brownies and cookie! Marking this spot as a new favorite for sure!

Ordered in uber eats, best burger place to do that! The fries arrived room temp (normal with a delivery service) and they are DELICIOUS still crispy and not soggy. Perfectly salted.
Burger is outstanding. I love a good Smashburger and the double Louie hits the spot.
I paid for a Louie sauce for the fries and requested the Louie sauce that comes on the burger to be on the side, but only received one side of sauce. More than enough for me but just a heads up to those sauce lovers who drench their food. Lol.

Legit smash burgers! The whole experience, though satisfying, was a bit chaotic, not to the establishments fault though. There aren’t many quick food choices in the area, so, when there’s a an event, this place will be crowded. The lady at the counter did tell us it was about a 40 minute wait (it ended up being closer to one hour). Our food came out precisely as we ordered it, it was about $80 for 5 burgers, 3 fries, and 2 cokes. I would suggest to go for the double right away, them being smashed burgers they are on the thin side, still good though. This is a very tasty hamburger, seasoned and cooked perfectly. The fries are very good as well. You can tell the ladies behind the counter were dealing with a stressful evening but they handled their own very well. Tensions were high among patrons, but it’s expected given the long wait times and high volume. Seating is limited, especially for large groups, but the wait time was long enough that tables cleared by the time our food came out. Overall, a quality burger (and lack of other choices) makes this a must go spot for food around the Sandi tree.

The best smash burger around. Simple straight to the point menu. Fairly priced and great quality. The buns are toasted the milkshakes are thick and fries are always perfect. Louie sauce is the best part! It’s about $40 for 2 people to have a burger fries and milkshake well worth it for me!

We stopped by Skinny Louie Burger and decided to try their new Very Best Burger, and honestly, it might just be the best burger we’ve ever had! The patty was cooked perfectly—juicy, flavorful, and topped with the most incredible sauce that really tied everything together. Every bite was packed with flavor, and the bun was soft but held up perfectly. You can tell they use high-quality ingredients and take pride in their food.
We also treated ourselves to the Brownie Milkshake, and it was just as impressive! It was thick, creamy, and had real chunks of brownie blended in, making it the perfect dessert to pair with the burger. It wasn’t overly sweet—just the right balance of rich chocolate flavor and smooth texture.

Oh my goodnesssssssss!!!! FLAVOR IS ON POINT. Cookies N cream shake is the best of the 3 shakes, Skinny Louie double hits the spot, the fries are AMAZING.

Don’t believe the hype! Based on reviews, we were excited to try Skinny Louie but we were very disappointed. The burgers and fries were mediocre at best and definitely over-priced. The smashburgers were not nearly award winning and the fries were very standard fast food. We were not acknowledged and were kept waiting when we walked in when we were the only ones in line. We ordered five meals and waited for the warm/cold food for about 20 minutes while we heard other later customers served before us.
The location on Clematis is probably the best thing about this place, as long as you don’t mind the noisy environment and occasional motorcycle passing by as you sit outside.

Without a doubt one of *the* best smashburgers I’ve ever had. Highly recommend the Skinny Louie, a gourmet Big Mac — a little greasier, a little bigger (I got the double, hubs got the triple; both of which reminded me a bit of a casserole on a bun), but the generous, crispy smash patties are well worth the price (and calorie) splurge. Don’t skimp on fries either (extra salt). Bonus points that the retro, apple-red decor reminds me of Back to the Future meets Bob’s Burgers.

First time visiting Florida, here from Dallas with my job. I’m in the industry myself and I love when I see/meet people who are passionate about their job! Tatiana and her coworker (sorry I forgot to ask her name) greeted me the moment I walked in. They both seem to light up the place. The guys were vibing to the music and hustling hard preparing food as well as pre closing. I hate coming into places when they’re about to close however, I got out of work late and literally walked a mile just to get there. The food was GREAT as well as their hospitality. Thank you all for your hard work and know your efforts did NOT go unnoticed!
