The service is excellent, the food is fantastic, it arrives very well to myself who am out of state, I can’t speak to the atmosphere because I was never there lol. But the people are great, and their products are phenomenal and I appreciate them a great deal. Wesołych świąt Bożego Narodzenia!

Go here for authentic polish foods and hot buffet for lunch and dinner.Their pork chops are second to none. You can purchase a dinner which includes an entree and 2 sides salads other side dish choices. The soft serve ice cream is amazing too probably the best I have had around… it just tastes better than most soft serves in my opinion.

Named after the first ruling family of Poland, this family-owned Bergen County establishment actually has 2 locations in Garfield.
Piast Meats and Provision is an authentic Polish supermarket located off of River Drive. Their team is made up of professional butchers, bakers, and cooks laboring in their craft with care and passion. Customers like us often seek out their signature pierogi, cold cuts, stuffed cabbage, beef jerky, and hot entrees that are served on site.
My partner and I have been here numerous times and decided on takeout. We opted for Breaded Chicken Cutlet with Mashed Potatoes and Steamed Vegetables as well as Chicken Cutlet with Mushroom and Cheese accompanied by Pork Meatball, and Red Cabbage Salad.
The delicious and well-seasoned meal arrived home still hot, as it was sealed tightly with Saran Wrap. The portion size was generous and can easily serve two people at a reasonable price. The staff were very friendly, helpful, and bilingual.
We continue to recommend this place.

They also have homemade hot foods to take home and surprise the family with authentic Polish cuisine. The homemade Polish beef jerky is another standout: chewy, savory, and packed with authentic seasoning.
The counter staff is always friendly and helpful, adding to the warm, neighborhood vibe. Just a heads-up: Sundays can get busy, and the lines tend to run long—but it’s totally worth the wait.

Some of best fresh perogies around, tender pasta and creamy potatoe filling. Wait for kielbasa and deli is long because everything is sliced on the spot, but worth the time. The locals / staff all order in polish which can be daunting but english translation below each label. It also helps that the checkout employees speak English. While waiting, don’t forget the chocolate selection on the side.

I love this store, I spent every single month between $500 to $600 . I love the kielbasas as well as the jars with the fermenting food from Polonaise, (ogórki and buraczki) . But I’m very disappointed – recently somehow tripe (flaczki) is gradually decreasing more and more but this week all limits were broken I am not talking about the fact that tripe is cut too thickly from each piece you could make 10 but why it is not cooked through is incomprehensible to me although maybe the fact that it is cut too thickly is the reason. The taste is ok they are well seasoned but you cannot swallow it because a thick piece cannot be chewed and grows in your mouth. – they are simply inedible. And this is the main reason for three stars instead of five.!
I will give them one more chance : four weeks from now, I will buy again to check it out and if the quality changed then I will changed my post.

Dissapointingly, the catered food does NOT taste like the meals sold there, as if a different crew cooked it and NOT according to traditional Polish recipes. Too bad!

A castle in the middle of Garfield, with an incredible deli inside with a selection of smoked meats beyond what you could think of!!! fresh meats with all different flavors!! Pierogies(of course), Cheese and sonoro much more.. Not inexpensive but quality never is
