Wow! I had their steamed burger, it was really good and the fries were great too.
I also had the seafood roll which was OK, just needed some extra flavor I was expecting a little sweeter of a zing but overall a great experience!
The service was very good. The blond waitress was very accommodating, even though I didn’t want to sit with my coworkers she insisted on me moving a chair with their table but I was happy where I was. I had to ask for extra ketchup which she acquired for me stealthily, the atmosphere was very interesting and I witnessed what appeared to be locals who just got done from a hard days work, as had I.
Before my cohorts and I decided to leave I pardoned for an extra glass of cold tap water, which I hear is of high-quality in Connecticut! The waitress obliged, and after a minute of waiting, I received my cold cup of water and used the public facilities. The bathroom was up to par for my standards and I only decided to wash my hands, but didn’t lock the door or fully close it but left it slightly cracked. Someone proceeded to try to enter and I said “one moment” they politely waited and I kindly exited. Then we left!

I’m very happy and pleased to say that I wondered into “AJ’s Oasis cafe’ “ four years ago in Meriden Ct. It was like walking onto that TV show “Cheers” where their saying was come on in and meet your friends. Well, that was so true here too, and I have been visiting this establishment frequently ever since. A place that makes you feel welcomed as you walk in, with a very friendly and comfortable atmosphere. The food is amazing and every plate from wings to a steak dinner is professionally plated. I have to say the bartender, waitresses and the cooks are always so friendly. Newer bartenders are younger and very good and friendly, but I very much like to keep our older bartenders like Lori who knows the area longer, remembers the history of our city and treats us the older crowd with a little more knowledge of our disabilities , music of our times and listens. Usually the older waitress use to work in the evening from Sunday to Wednesday where most of the older crowd visits. Thank you for having a great place to hang out and feel welcomed.

I went here because I heard of their great seafood…, when I got there, I was impressed with the atmosphere, just a bunch of people enjoying life. I ended up getting the Mexican Street Corn and the fried artichoke hearts. The Street corn was hot, fresh and plump, so very good. The fried artichoke hearts were the best I’ve ever had with an outstanding dipping sauce. The 6″ personal pan pizza had an incredible crust and everything else was perfect. Go here when you get a chance.

Great owners and Great food. Great service. Haley is my favorite. Most people go for the wings and they’re delicious. I go for the French onion soup and buffalo wrap.

I was told by my Tattoo artist that AJs has really good wings so I decided to give them a try. I have always ordered through DoorDash so I can’t speak about service or atmosphere. I have ordered breakfast items (French Toast, Eggs Benedict, Egg Sandwich, sausages and homefries with onions) as well as Buffalo wings, chicken nachos, fries, soup & chili. I can honestly say that 95% of the time the food is always made well and is delicious. I definitely recommend giving them a try if you haven’t, they are one of the better places to eat in Meriden.

So I ordered here for the first time after being told this is the place . First time getting food in Meriden. Lady answered the phone had to repeat my order like ten times due to her not being able to hear at all . So anyways I get my food for pick up and I get to my job, sit down and open it and this is what ya get. . Like how hard is it for a three piece hard fried wing and waffle with blue cheese .

My girlfriend was sexually harassed by a patron there and the fact that nothing was done about it is grossly despicable and irresponsible. Everytime I personally go, folks juat stare at me for no reason which makes me feel grossly uncomfortable and doesnt make for a friendly, warm, inviting, and welcoming atmosphere.
