I door dashed 2 items and both were disappointments. Ordered Red Snapper sashimi and it came as a maki roll. The rice was sugary and snapper had strong fish smell. Also ordered Marilyn Monroe Roll and all I could taste was sweet from mango and overpowering spicy from tuna. Overall flavor was not appealing. Quality control needs to be supervised and hope they can get a better balance of flavors.

When I crave sushi in Saline County I order from Sumo of Bryant! They have several sushi rolls options, something for everyone! I love the Tokyo Drift Roll and Eric’s Roll. They also have refreshing summer rolls wrapped in rice paper. The chicken yakatori is a great appetizer! I’ve always ordered takeout, but the location is cute and clean. Prices are as fair as the economy will allow these days. If you like sushi rolls and are near Bryant, AR then try this restaurant.

So as far as pros, the waitress was super helpful and friendly. That’s why I didn’t give a one. But sadly that was really the only pro.
Cons, the price for quality does not match. The onion soup and most of the food was not hot and felt like it was sitting too long. It’s super Americanized food and not remotely authentic.
The vegetables on the hibachi tasted very grocery store quality. The onion soup was room temperature. The shrimp was tiny, and the sesame chicken had some sort of watered down sweet n sour sauce with some Sesame seeds thrown on top.
Lastly, they brought my plate out about 10-15 minutes after my gf had hers at the table.
All in all, I thank the waitress. She did an amazing job, but sadly the food couldn’t match. I probably wouldn’t come back again.

The food here was amazing. The sushi was my absolute favorite. It taste so good and it was, hands down, the largest sushi roll I had ever seen. Such good food and large portions for the price. I loved it so much, I took my children and they loved it as well! All delicious!

Great place for lunch but don’t go if you are looking for authentic Japanese food. Prices aren’t too bad for what you get. The soups are worth trying and if you like sushi they have a good selection. I would not recommend the steak at all. The employees are nice but the services is slow.. They have beer and wine.

I ordered my food to go and the main course was good. I did not get everything I ordered and they would not credit it back to my card, even if I drove the 15 mins back. The only thing they offer is to remake it. The young lady had no clue what was going on, I am sure she was new but maybe not have her taking orders on the phone when she admitted she had no idea what certain items were. I will not be back, def not worth the drive and money.

Today, the fried sushi that I ordered was called Monkey Brain. It was supposed to have crab, cream cheese and cucumber. Instead of cucumber, mine had avocado and I’m allergic to avacado.
Also, the General Tso chicken is red. I’ve had it at many restaurants over the years and have never seen it red. I didn’t even know what it was at first! Then when I tried it, it needed to be warmed up.
Definitely not the worst place I’ve eaten but I personally would not go again.
