We go here for the majority of holidays and special occasions. My mother-in-law likes to come here. Our Christmas reservation was at 11:30. We were shocked to see the buffet was substantially smaller in size and fewer options than in the last 7 years. In addition, desserts were not replenished and were empty by just after 12:15. This is supposed to be high-end buffet for the price but we would have been better going to Golden Corral. On a positive, wait staff always friendly; recommend programmers do a better job.

Buffet breakfast, good choices, good stuff. A better than average resort buffet. Omelette bar. Friendly service. $23 per adult, $9 per kid. Pretty steep… but you’re on vacation.

Varied buffet breakfast, the place is clean and tidy, the staff friendly, the Mr. Luis A. who attended us was very helpful and attentive to our needs. The manager was the same as yesterday at C&R, very organized and kind. Annie’s name. This place is highly recommended to go with family.

The continental breakfast you ignore at other hotels… Lansdowne charges for it.

Nice views. Clean. Well lit.

Food you wish you skipped. The waffles got the most negative reviews from the people in our party. Most everything was pretty much “old” or “stale” tasting.

Not a lot of choices.

Definitely recommend eating elsewhere.

This was a beautiful place to eat breakfast, from the view to the decor to the presentation of the various food and buffet options. The meal was delicious and nothing was “ordinary,” even the muffins tasted extra good and the jams tasted home made. The made on the spot omelets were fabulous and the surprise of seeing deviled eggs and smoked salmon offered on the buffet were a treat. The prices were the only negative….higher than I prefer to pay for breakfast, however it was what I expected a restaurant in a five start resort. A lovely breakfast.

Great buffet and service! Omelette bar, pancakes and waffles, fruit, yogurt, oatmeal, breads and bagels, etc. Everything was yummy! $25 per adult, which we thought was pretty good.

Not worth the money. $90 for two brunch buffets and they served powdered eggs. The buffet here was just an over priced, fancier version of a Holiday Inn continental breakfast. There are many better options for the same or better price. The food wasn’t absolutely horrible, but it certainly was not worth what they charge. They also included an 18% tip into the bill, which I feel is excessive for a buffet where I have to get my own food.

Absolutely not. Your $100 for two can be MUCH better spent in a number of places in Leesburg or Ashburn.

First, they charged an automatic gratuity of %18 for a party of two… for a buffet. Not that the tip is too much or anything, but you need to make sure you don’t double tip because of this.

The ambiance of the whole place just seems a bit run down. Their grand halls and massive stonework columns are totally irrelevant when you start taking note of all the other ignored details. There are broken window frames, threadbare carpet, the napkins seem like industrial kitchen towels, un-bussed tables, no tableclothes, run down and outdated decor.

Baked goods: probably the best part. Still, they weren’t great. Someone went overboard on spices in a couple.

The meats: were all pretty old and taste like re-heated food. The spiral ham was cold.

The fruit: there was none there… Oh wait, my GF saw someone bring out a plastic bag of apples, rip open the plastic and the put apples out. Do those little guys need to be washed first?

Eggs: there was no egg option unless you wanted an omelet made for you. I was planning on getting one, but after trying the other stuff I had no desire to go back for an omelet.

Desserts: there was a cheesecake bite that was OK. The chia pudding was bad. In fact the only fruit in the whole buffet was a little canned tangerine slice and even that had a weird taste.

Awesome breakfast spread! My dad’s omelet was great! Very reasonable. Will be back here everytime I am in town. Oscar Rivera service was the best!

Maybe the rating of this place is being affected due to a THOUSAND afghans a month being housed fed and educated for free. Lansdowne owners and the defense department making deals worth who only knows how much and then that gets passed on to……you guessed it the local citizens of loudoun county. What a great democracy we live in. What a joke
