A smaller restaurant with a decent parking lot and plenty of options on the menu. The atmosphere is quaint and inviting and the food is generously sized portions for the price a welcome experience in this economy. The staff is super friendly and polite as well as knowledgeable. and helpful when making difficult decisions.

Very abrupt and dismissive table service. Had a rudeness to it too. Food (besides the Costco mixed frozen veggies) and atmosphere was great, but due to the lack luster table service, I’ll go back to my other favorite Japanese spot, even though I’ve been a patron of Ichiban since 2001.

Amazing food and friendly staff. They had a very intoxicated women come in being rude and disrespectful because she ordered something wrong due to being drunk and they handled the situation perfectly. Even with a language barrier they give amazing quick service. Very friendly and clean!! Berry mountain roll and Kodiak not pictured but were so flavorful and filling ↔️

Came here with the coworkers for the first time and got the large sushi boat. At only $100 it was a fantastic value for some great bites. We also ordered some apple and peach Sake, squid tempura, and some chicken fried rice. Will definitely be back again soon for another boat 🙂 .

The best sushi I’ve ever had was in Alaska and I haven’t visited for 13 years. We had lunch here and had the Miso soup, Gyoza, Boyfriend roll, Crunch roll, and the Baked Salmon roll. The service was wonderful; the ambiance is great because it’s quiet enough for conversation. This sushi reminded me why Alaska has the best!

There was a bit of confusion when I paid my payment had already gone through on my end, but it didn’t show up in their system right away. The staff were a bit tense with me at that moment, which made me feel a little uneasy.
Before I left, I politely asked if the payment had gone through and if it was okay for me to go. Instead of receiving an apology for the confusion or the time lost, I was simply told, “I believe you,” which caught me a bit off guard.

Stopped here after dropping things off at UPS and the Air smelled delicious and noticed it was from this restaurant.
We stopped in and grabbed a bite to eat. The lady was extremely nice, who served us. The rolls were nicely tight, packed, tasted fresh. Next time, I would love to get their bigger sushi platters.

This was a pleasant spot to eat. I’ve spent 3 years in Okinawa and missed some good Japanese food. This spot was a good substitute being in Anchorage.

Slower service but appeared to be family run with younger kids helping around the place.
VERY cold inside even though outside temps weren’t below zero. Everyone in our party kept their coats on and I almost put gloves on to eat.
By the time we left, all 7 of us were freezing and our feet were especially cold.
