We came to Il Pastaficio after spotting it on Diners, Drive-Ins and Dives. Honestly, it’s not really any of those categories… it’s better. It feels like you accidentally found someone’s favorite neighborhood gem that they almost don’t want to tell you about.
My nephew, my mom, and I ordered a lot (no regrets):
• Focaccia
• Prosciutto & burrata
• Duck ragu pasta
• Lasagna bolognese
• Carbonara
• Valentine’s Day heart-shaped ravioli special
• Nerone and Figo gelato
• Pistachio & Nutella bombolone donuts
Every single dish tasted noticeably fresh. The kind of freshness you can actually taste in the pasta texture and sauces, not just read on a menu. The duck ragu was rich but balanced, the carbonara was silky and authentic, and the lasagna felt like the comfort-food version of fine dining. Even the focaccia had that perfect crisp-outside/soft-inside contrast. Then the desserts came out and somehow topped everything — especially the pistachio and Nutella bombolone, which disappeared embarrassingly fast.
But the real highlight was our server, Ken. Knowledgeable, genuinely friendly, and effortlessly attentive — not scripted, not hovering, just perfect timing and great recommendations. He elevated the entire experience from “great” to “memorable”.
My fiancée couldn’t make it, which honestly just gave me the perfect excuse to come back ASAP.
10/10 vibes. Not a single weak dish. We thoroughly enjoyed every item we ordered — and that almost never happens. We’ll absolutely be returning.

Molto Bene! Honestly one of the best dining experiences in Greenwich. Super easy, super quick and incredible quality food. The specials are always top notch. We usually go in there and pick up a salad and some fresh pasta for dinner, but it’s also super casual and fast, so you can walk in always get a table you can even bring your own bottle of wine. Service is amazing.

Everything about our lunch experience at Il Pastaficio was phenomenal. We heard about them through Triple D, as I’m sure many others have – and amazing for them and their success! The service was lovely, with a really kind server who answered our questions and fostered a warm, pleasant environment. The focaccia was incredible and our pasta dishes were so good. We also got ricotta cheesecake to go. We definitely plan on returning with my in-laws and to pick up different pre-made sauces and pasta dishes. Fantastic and pleasantly small dining joint, can’t wait to go back!

We were passing by on a road trip and decided to stop because it was on DDD. Service was friendly. I had the spaghetti carbonara and my husband had the duck ragu that was featured on DDD. Both were delicious and executed very well. The pancetta in the carbonara was so crispy! We also had the focaccia and it was delicious. Took some of the pistachio canolli to go but I haven’t tried them yet!

I don’t even know where to begin, my roommate suggested this as takeout a few times, and the food was phenomenal, even after being delivered. There’s always enough food to have for dinner and then lunch the next day. Today when I got out of work, I went by the shop to get a salad so I could finish it with my dinner from last night, I picked up some homemade cookies and a homemade lemon tart. The food is 10 out of 10. The service is 10 out of 10. There are a few tables inside the restaurant. It is small, clean, quaint, and crisp. It’s BYOB and honestly it’s the most authentic Italian that I’ve had in a very long time.
