Delicious ice cream..dont be scared when you see the drive thru line, they bust out the icecream super fast..super incredible how they stack the flavors. Any flavor can be swirled with vanilla, but if you dont get vanilla, they “stack” the flavors. Really nice workers too.

I came through from a recommendation from local family who said this spot is historic and a must visit when in Pleasanton. They weren’t kidding. It was a pretty nippy day and while there weren’t many folks in the counter line, there were tons of cars lining up around the corner for the drive-thru. I opted for the classic chocolate and vanilla swirl, medium size and boy oh boy, what a deal. This thing was huge for a medium and costing only $3.50? This is an unbelievably good deal. It almost felt like stealing. The ice cream was so thick and rich. The first bite coated my mouth with some high quality cow juice. I could tell this was some good stuff and I am still shocked at how affordable the cone is. Apparently I came at a good time because after I ordered, there were about three dozen people behind me. It really does seem like ice cream tastes better when the weather is colder. It melts slower too, but I didn’t have trouble getting this cone down. This was a super yummy one for the books. Looking forward to coming back to try the other flavors.

I absolutely loved the softy from this old softy maker in Pleasanton! The taste was truly amazing—rich, creamy, and perfectly balanced, bringing back such a nostalgic, old-school charm that’s hard to find these days. What made the experience even better was how unbelievably affordable it was. In a place like the Bay Area, finding something this delicious at such a low price is a rare treat. The quality, taste, and value together make this spot a hidden gem. I honestly feel everyone in the Bay Area should visit this place at least once—if you’re a softy lover, you’ll definitely keep coming back!

One of the best place to try ice cream in the entire Bay Area. This place is drive thru or take away only. It’s always busy like in and out. You see cars lining up across the signal just to get one. We tried the chocolate vanilla swirl, Diablo with orange and vanilla and a diablo with berry and vanilla. Hands down their vanilla and chocolate is the best I’ve tried. It’s fresh, creamy refreshing and moorish. Every bite is soothing on your throat. The doable with orange was also good. It’s basically an orange slush and vanilla ice cream. It flat like Fanta float but better. The least disappointing was berry and vanilla Diabelo. The berry slushy was not that great. Overall I’d highly recommend their swirls and I’ll definitely be back to try more of their flavors.

I love this place every time I go. I brought friends to it for the first time and they loved the charm of a walk up, soft-serve place with quick service. I usually get the regular soft serve cup, this time pineapple and chocolate, so good. One of my friends tried a Diablo (slushy & ice cream) and thought it was really sweet and good. Another got a cookies and cream shake and it was so thick he was able to flip it upside down, sure to get a spoon!

Walking distance from the house in Downtown Pleasanton, we frequently make stops here and they never disappoint! They have a great creamy texture that you expect from an ice cream, and they rotate special limited time flavors often enough that I need to check back to try them! They’re always a hit if you’re looking for a sweet treat, but they are very popular and frequently very busy so they might have a wait but they move fast.

Whenever I pass by Pleasanton, I can’t resist stopping at Meadowlark for their soft serve ice cream! Their unique flavors and rotating seasonal flavors are fun to try. Even the classic vanilla is so good.

The chocolate soft serve is great.
Strawberry was okay – it reminded me of starburst rather than actual strawberries. You can get the 2 flavors stacked instead of swirled. Nice price at $3.50 for a small in a cake cone.
Line moves quickly for the standing line. Not sure about the drive thru.

Line was long but it moved quickly. The soft serve was very good. Walk across the street and there are some raised planters that you can sit on.

I often come here with my friends, very nice atmosphere. Personally I do not like the strawberry flavor but their vanilla is wonderful. Would also reccomend many of their seasonal flavors.
