We went here for my daughter’s birthday dinner. We were so excited since we hadn’t been there before (Neosho location) That being said we were highly disappointed!!! The staff were nice enough. But we waited for over an hour for our food!! And it was mediocre at best. The manager said the kitchen was really busy… that excuse might have worked if everyone around us that came in after us hadn’t ordered ate and left before we ever got our food.And I could have been more forgiving if they would have been honest and upfront from the beginning but they didn’t even come to us until we said something to them!! Half off our meal another joke. And he gives us a card for a free meal…. Yet it said one free entree… No thank you. We will never be back to this location!!! I’m glad everyone else had a great experience but we did not!!

The staff was great. The food was very good. My husband said they made the best old fashion. There is plenty of booth or table seating as well as seating at the bar. The rum buckets were good, too. We will be back.

We have been here twice since opening. Our first visit was fantastic. Food and service were amazing. Our second visit today was less than impressive. Over an hour wait for food that was so burnt and dry it was not edible. I was not given a new meal, an apology or offered a discount. I really wanted to love it here. Everyone else in our party was happy with their food.

Debbie provided excellent service! She was pleasant and was knowledgeable about our food allergy Alpha Gal! Which is quite refreshing. She informed the kitchen of our needs and the food was amazing.

Waited over an hour on our food for a party of 6. Then had to point it out to them. They never noticed had not gotten our food. When we complained they said the kitchen was backed up but when we pointed out that 4 tables came in ordered ate and left they realized we didn’t believe them. They decided to tell us that our ticket was lost. Then proceeded to bring us cold food. The manager only offered a 50% discount on the entrees. They should have comped the meals. And apologized!

First time to eat at Big Whiskey in Neosho.
Even though it looked slammed we only waited about 15 minutes.
Ordered drinks, main course and dessert. Hubby got the All American burger with slaw. He said the burger was just right, not too done but nice and juicy.
The slaw was kinda bland and different but not bad.
I got the Cajun Coastal Combo with steamed broccoli, and sweet potato fries.
Pretty yummy. Not overly spicy.
The chicken could use more of the butter sauce on it but the combination was surprisingly good.
Broccoli was done just right and not mushy.
Sweet potato fries just the right balance of sweet and spicy.
The Skillet Brownie was enough for two… crispy crunchy with a nice size dollop of vanilla ice cream drizzled with chocolate and caramel.

Best part of the experience was the trivia. We were initially sat at a booth/table so small I could put my chest on the table, couldnt turn and couldnt breathe. We were able to move tables. My husband had ordered for me, burger no bun. The server said something like she thinks maybe she forgot to request no bun and made some comment about not worrying about cutting carbs. Its 2026 youve got to be kidding me right?. Thank you for your unsolicited opinion about my dietary choices and my weight. Actually I don’t eat gluten because it makes me sick. So maybe next time think about the words that are coming out of your mouth. I would love to go back for trivia but the service left a bad taste in my mouth and it wasnt just the funky Neosho water, and frankly my burger sucked. It definitely wasnt fresh.

I ordered the bourbon salmon at the Neosho location. It was overdone and burnt and the bourbon glaze was not good unfortunately. I enjoyed the French onion soup. My food was good the last time so I would try it again. Just not order the salmon.

We are lucky to have Big Whiskey in Neosho. I went there Sunday about 3:30. My 2nd try to give them another chance, because, the first time my 7 friends and I went it was not prepared for the heavy people. So on Nov. 30 we went again. Not happy with the servers !!!! Perhaps BW is understaffed, or not trained enough. But the girls were very slow, had to wait a long time. The bartender left so much to be desired by our group of 6 this time. The Bloody Mary’s were just bad. ( Bloody Mary mixer looked like ice tea!!!!! Not 1 piece of condiments to enhance the drink) no celery, a slice of orange or lemon would have made it a medium style drink at least …… but there was nothing but the thin mixer. To us that ordered one it was BAD. You need to improve the quality of that and all all the drinks. Then when 3 of us had an old fashion the glass had 1/3 full. It was the time to check out and our server. Never came out in quite a long time, we asked 3 servers to please have her bring the ticket, still sitting and waiting she finally did did appears. This is not how BW should be with any customer. Not sure if our group will try it again☹️. Hope you in some way resolve this type of service
