I frequently go to the Prince street in Lancaster and have tried the one in York as well, but this experience was far from either of those locations. I ordered a tea latte, and was given a plain tea. No problem I thought I will just get this mistake corrected. I was snipped at and told that was how the order was place, but the barista reluctantly fixed the issue. The latte then came back with no foam and seemingly cold milk poured in to top it off. I then asked if I could have it remade with foam like a traditional tea latte. I was told that was not how they traditionally came. She said she could make it with more steamed milk, but that it was wrong. I agreed, not understanding where the hostility was coming from. I then got the tea latte with a side cup of milk and a comment about how that would “certainly be enough for me now”. I then got to listen to her complain about all this to her coworker. Again this was shocking. I genuinely have never been treated like this from a barista, and having been a barista for years myself I know these weren’t unreasonable asks. On top of this the grits I ordered were completely water and still hard/uncoocked. Over all I couldn’t eat or drink anything I was given, and was shocked at this from a Prince street location.

The coffee and cheesy grits breakfast here is amazing. The atmosphere in the cafe is super chill and I love seeing all the indoor house plants displayed through out the cafe. I recommend you checking this spot out.

Our first time at this location! We LOVE the Lancaster one and this one was just as good! Fair prices, kind service, and a beautiful space! Highly recommend the blueberry baked oatmeal

Really nice coffee shop and cafe. Nice roomy interior with large windows and natural light. Both breakfast and lunch menus and food are good. Excellent friendly staff. So good that I keep coming back to try new food items and enjoy the fresh brewed coffee.

A friend and I went to this location this morning. Brooke was working the counter. Everything was going well until we ordered coffee to go, for context we order coffee ALOT from a lot of different places. The coffee tasted off, so we went back to the counter to let her know the taste was a bit stale and bitter and maybe a machine needed changed a little. As we went to walk away we overheard Brooke talking badly about us to the kitchen staff. I’d say that’s might unprofessional and not a good look. Maybe think about that before stopping by this place.

Every time I come here the staff is exceptionally kind, especially this morning. There was a young guy working behind the counter with a buzzed head and a big smile. He was so kind and interactive with my kids and couldn’t have been more welcoming. My daughter literally said “if I could come here every single morning for coffee to start my day, I’d want him serving it to me since he’s serving up coffee AND good vibes to start your day”. So true! The breakfast burritos are always delicious and the vegan options are my favorite including the vegan chocolate chip banana muffins.

This is my second visit to Prince Street Cafe however the last time I visited the York location. While in Columbia today, I decided to stop by and try their newest location. When visiting this location there is on-street parking or a small parking lot across the street. Make sure to feed the meter. Bring some quarters if you think you’re going to be quick. They only take quarters. I stopped by and ordered the falafel to go. I also enjoyed a smoothie. The restaurant was clean. Staff was friendly. I especially enjoyed the note on my to go bag! How cute. I will definitely return!

Looked for a breakfast. The infamous 50s Cafe down the street stopped serving breakfast and so I went in search. I was not disappointed and neither are many who stop there too! Regulars I’m guessing by the familiarity, community.
