Second Order: I ordered through the app for delivery on Wednesday – January 28th, because I was working late. I got the two can dine, which was $13.99 on the app. This meal included 6-piece wings, 3-piece chicken strips, 2-sides, and 2-biscuits.
The chicken was supposed to be ghost pepper and it wasn’t, the strips were supposed to be spicy and they were regular, the red beans and rice, and mashed potatoes were both trash!
The 6-piece wasn’t cooked to good, the chicken strips tasted bland and nasty (hot sauce didn’t help), the mashed potatoes didn’t have enough gravy and was dry, whew the red beans and rice was down bad, I couldn’t eat it because the rice was not fully cooked; you should not hear the rice make a sound when you shake it; it was literally a scoop of dry rice half cooked!

I visited this location on MLK Day – Monday, January 19th. I placed an pickup order throuht the Popeyes app and my cousin went through the drive-thru. The line was long, but it moved quickly.
I got the 12-piece party wings special for $12.00 and a large fry. My cousin got the fave $5.00 3-piece and she told the order taken she wanted two of the 5 dollar faves and two orders of fries.
And, even after repeating her order, they still got her order wrong. She was rang up for one 5 dollar fave and two fries. When I received my order, I was given a regular fry and not a large.
Since the food wasn’t hot we warmest it up. I tasted her 3-piece and it was not seasoned. Maybe we should’ve gotten it spicy. However, my 12-piece order of party wings were delicious .
I’ll try it again and give another update.

I’ve visited the new Popeyes Restaurant on Grant Street several times since they opened. Service has been great. Food delicious. My only issue was drive thru where I was given the wrong order. The label on the box was correct so I never opened the box. Always check your order before leaving. Other than that I feel it’s a good restaurant.

Omg…The customer service here is outstanding. The grand opening was excellent. I came the next day and order some food I was greeted by a manger name lovelie she asked me how was my day and welcome to popeyes with a beautiful smile.I felt like a million bucks she asked if i need anything else and told me to please come again. Her professional attitude and warm greeting made my day…i was having a bad day and she turned my frown upside down and i will be coming again.

I had the distinct pleasure of visiting this location through their drive-through. The young lady who took my order was extremely pleasant. They were very very busy and I waited in line maybe 10 minutes because there were so many cars in front of me, but the line moved rather quickly and when I got to the window to pay I was greeted by a young lady with a very pleasant personality and a beautiful smile. I told her how very happy I was that they were finally open again at this location and that for them to continue to greet their customers so pleasantly.

Came into the new Popeyes in Gary and left impressed. The staff made a big difference with how welcoming and professional took the time to make sure my order was correct and handled everything smoothly. Service like that really stands out. Overall a great visit.
