I have been to the Corky’s in Nashville, as well as the one in Memphis. This one happen to disappoint. The service was not good. We had to wait a long time for our food, and the waiter was not attentive forgetting to bring us part of our order. The food itself is different. The brisket is fatty offering less meat. Very sad as we were looking forward to eating here and enjoying it.
I will say that the place is clean and I loved all of the pictures of Elvis.

Told the wife, kidding of course, our meals would suck because we didn’t get Harriet or Megan as our waitress.
Second bad omen — our meals would be subpar when our entrees arrived to the table 10 minutes after ordering.
The food tasted good but everything was barely warm to the touch like it had been sitting under a warmer long before our 5 pm Saturday arrival.
The baked potato was the best part of our meals but it wasn’t even hot to the touch. No steam whatsoever.
The corn on the cob was ice cold. No typo. Ice cold.
Our ribs were NOT hot off the bbq pit. Neither was my wife’s chicken. Dry to the bone literally. The tabled bbq sauce saved the day.
$90 including tip. Very underwhelmed.

My husband looked it up and we had lunch here. He chose the chicken and ribs combo, and I went with the brisket. You can pick two sides with your meal. The brisket and potatoes were both delicious, but honestly, the coleslaw had a strange smell and seemed like it was missing some seasoning—maybe a bit more sugar or vinegar? Our server’s service was excellent!

As a Memphis native we had to try it. It was missing some of the Memphis staples, but still phenomenal. Our waitress Harriet was awesome and a great knowledgeable waitress. She made it feel like home.

Fast service and spectacular food! My friend and I were both visiting from out of state, and the two of us thought that our meals were delicious! My friend had the mac & cheese with pork on top and I had the half slab of barbecue ribs. We both had okra and jalapeño hush puppies as our sides. My ribs had dry rub on them, but I also added some of their delicious house barbecue sauce.

The Cheesy Q was bleh. We are from Georgia and don’t expect box tasting mac n cheese at a restaurant. The hush puppies were bland, but the baked beans and cheese bites were good. The BBQ Mac n cheese was underwhelming for my husband and, again, had the boxed mac n cheese letdown.

The customer service was fantastic our service Harriet was great. She happy upbeat and very courteous from the second she came to our table. Presented herself welcoming us in and asking if we had any dietary or health restrictions then fallowed up with drink options. She recommended items on the menu we asked about things to do in town and so on. She worked the floor and never lost sight of our table or needs. If you in town make sure you stop by and ask for Harriet at Corkys!
