Came with my book club (32 women!!) and our server was AMAZING. The kitchen did so well getting everything out hot and fast, I got the Brussels sprouts salad and the espresso martini mocktail- both hit my pregnancy cravings perfectly. The whole restaurant was so cool, loved the atmosphere and the ambiance. As a former server, I know how hard parties that big are and Madison’s handled it like champs. My husband and I will be back- save me another espresso martini mocktail!

This is a quiet restaurant right on the main drag of Flushing. I had a ribeye mid-rare and baked potato, both done well. My wife had the smothered chicken which was not as good. The peppers and onions were undercooked and the cheese had congealed on the chicken. Chicken was also bland and really needed seasoning. It’s a nice atmosphere and has very limited seating, but it really wasn’t busy when we arrived. I understand they do a brunch so I’m looking forward to trying it.

My husband and I ordered takeout through our local Flushing delivery service. We ordered fish and chips, the Brussels sprout salad with chicken and their chicken Alfredo the food was absolutely delicious! Everything was so good we are back two days later to try different menu items. We use to patronize Kathy’s but stopped going due to quality and cleanliness of the establishment. I’m so happy we have a new local restaurant with great food. We plan on dining in to try their craft drinks very soon. Great Job Madison’s on Main!

Madison’s on Main is the beautifully refreshed evolution of Kathy’s 126, still under the same wonderful ownership, just with a new name and a stunning renovation. The updates are gorgeous: warm, welcoming, and absolutely charming inside. Just as important, the staff is amazing. Many of them have been here for years, and it shows. They’re friendly, efficient, and incredibly knowledgeable if you have questions. Everyone is great, but two of our absolute favorites are Marianna, the very best bartender, who makes an outstanding Aviation cocktail (a must-try!) Also our long-time favorite waitress, Angie. The food is truly spectacular. You can’t go wrong with anything on the menu. Some of my personal favorites are the crab cakes, coconut-fried shrimp, their fresh salads, meatloaf, fish dishes, butternut squash ravioli, and the shrimp alla vodka. And I’ll admit it… even as an adult, I love their chicken tenders! Every dish has been consistently delicious. Hands down, the best restaurant in Flushing. Highly recommend! *Five stars* ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Formerly Kathy’s this has gone through a remodel. Overall feel is about the same with decor. Now has a vinyl floor which I hope is not a nightmare to keep clean with all the salt snow etc. We waited 5 minutes for someone to come and seat us as there was no host/ess. We were just about to leave, and a gentleman came out and directed us where to sit. Later we found out it was just another server not the hostess. Service was subpar for the price that you pay. Bread was nice and hot but when you tried to cut it was so soft and just mushed. The presentation was good. The meatloaf came out with cold potatoes. The Ravioli came with an alfredo sauce. We both found it to be thicker than expected but flavor was good. Disappointed that the desert section only has 3 options. Whiskey sauce on the bread pudding was like taking a straight shot. Pumpkin cheesecake was awesome. Server was not very attentive, and we waited for almost everything. a $70+ meal we both expected more.

I can’t say enough about Madison’s on Main (Mom’s). This is my go to restaurant and pub here in town. I had the Chicken Marsala a few days ago and it was excellent. Favorite cocktail is the Aviation pictured above and Marianna is the absolute best bartender. There’s always good company to chat with and feel comfortable around. The renovations are spot on and I’m so proud of Bree and what she’s done for the place.
