My first and only choice for Mexican dining in Mountain Home! Always fresh, hot and delicious meals. Margaritas are to die for! Friendly and attentive staff. Haven’t ever been disappointed.
UPDATE: Still 5 ⭐. There was was a misunderstanding with my order, but it was awesome and I ate it without complaints. The service was wonderful as always!
UPDATE #2: My husband and I immensely enjoyed our 2nd Anniversary lunch at La Paloma! It was hot, fresh and oh so good!!! Service was top notch, as always!!!
UPDATE #3: La Paloma does it again!!! We met family for lunch. Our server was outstanding!!! He took our orders, and even came back to check with me about mine since I had made several requests. Food arrived hot, exactly as ordered and was Delicious!!! We had a pitcher of Margarita, because they make the best margs in town…imo!

Here for Mom’s birthday and staff were great! Food was fantastic, fresh and served quickly. Just the right amount of interaction and recommendations were perfect! Had poblano pasta. Best ever!!! Drinks were made fresh (mojito) and beer was cold.

Came 1-31-2026 everything was 5 star quality service was great so many great authentic meals to choose from was very impressed with the quality of the ingredients. My Steak Feliz was a 10oz ribeye smothered in shrimp onions and mushrooms. I will dream about the next time I can come back.

Looking for some good Mexican food and a tasty margarita, we tried LA Paloma in Mountain Home. It did not disappoint.
I wish every restaurant served Fresh Guacamole, freshly diced avocado tossed in lime, cilantro, red onion and tomato, as this one does. The Carne asada street Tacos were also excellent. My berry margaritas was a sweet accompaniment.
The only downside here for me were the chips. I prefer mine thinner and made from white corn. Service was excellent and atmosphere was spot-on.
This place should be packed. I would go again and recommend.

Listen, I have eaten at a lot of Mexican restaurants, but this place is amazing. There’s nothing negative to say. Don’t let the simple exterior of the building fool you. The tables and chairs are new and nice. The employees are professional, tend to you quickly, and get your order (even a large order) exactly right. Most of all, the food tastes amazing!!! Its just better here than most other Mexican places. The food is also presented very nicely. I wish there were more stars to give this place!!! Highly recommended!

We had high hopes for this place based on overall reviews. Sadly service was a bit lacking and slow. We initially gave that a pass since a large group came in five minutes after we sat down. Then the salsa was not good, better than tomato sauce but not something I would look forward to eating. The corn soup appetizer came out with the meal and was warm at best. The refried beans, maybe their spin on them, did not sit well with either of us.
Now, to end on a good note the meals were good and we will probably give them a second try. Maybe they are better when you do not get there close to a larger group.

We recently visited this area and had the pleasure of eating a meal at this restaurant. The food was excellent and the service was just as good. The chips and fresh guacamole were addictive. The pork carnitas was juicy, tender and very tasty.
Would highly recommend this restaurant if you would like great Mexican food.

Last month I went on Facebook and saw someone post a photo of the Jassmin Especial (photo 1) and my family and I went immediately that day. And since then we have ordered it every week 2x a week. Today we got takeout and ordered a double fajita chicken and steak. (Photo 2) I have had NO issues with any food I’ve ordered this past month and a half. My only regret is not going when it first opened up in 2021.
