Uncle Sam’s is a really nice and comfortable local bar. The food is really simple stuff you can get from a deep fryer. The beer is cold. The bartenders and other patrons are nice. If you’re looking for a place to just hang out after a long day, this is it.

Rude staff- disappointing experience. First time on holiday in America and I’ve wanted to visit this bar all week to have a few beers and play some pool. Barely walked in to the bar before being made to feel unwelcome and uncomfortable. I have grown up in the restaurant and bar business myself and have never experienced such unprofessional behaviour as I have experienced today. Never even got to order a drink, we were busy showing our ID because she said that we had to be 21 to even be In there (happen to be 32)- plus being told that we can’t use the pool table that had nobody was even near incase someone wanted to come and finish their game. We were told to ‘hit the road’ if we thought she was being rude so decided to leave
