What an amazing take out experience. We moved close by. We were celebrating my birthday we ordered a few combination platters. They were so fresh delicious and beautifully prepared. The rolls incredible wasabi spicy the way it should be thank you Sushi Chef for a wonderful experience. Everyone is so kind. And helpful. Thank you for the spring rolls on the house and a great 1st time experience. We will be back.

A+ excellence. We were lucky enough to get seated without a reservation. The last couple times I have tried to drop in there wasn’t any space. We had a group of 4 and enjoyed Saporro and Ashai before the starter salad and miso soup. We decided to split the large sashimi and roll dragon boat. Amazing value really. 100$ feeds 4 to excess. Coupled with amazing friendly service, its the best sushi place in the greater Barrie area. Im pretty sure the boat had salmon, snapper, tuna belly, butter fish, ebi, octopus some eel and a couple spicey tuna roll? Delicious. Other tables had similar items and all looked very happy. I heard nothing negative the entire visit. Clean washrooms, foaming soap which I prefer.

Best Sushi in Barrie! Was not impressed with all the other sushi places in Barrie, so we decided to try this place. The quality of their sushi is so good! So fresh, huge size and absolutely delicious! The staff is so nice too! The best part is I got the food in a PLASTIC BAG!!! Definitely our new go too from now on.

Probably one of the best sushi places in Barrie. Most sushi places put 2 layers of rice around the seaweed and offer little filling inside. This place has an average rice filling of 1.2 which means you can eat and focus on flavour instead of soy and rice. The only thing I’d recommend is adding pictures to the menu. Lots of options but no idea how it comes. Only thing I’d change is adding pictures to add the most popular items on the menu.

It genuinely does not matter what you order. From sashimi to nigiri to rolls, everything is packed with flavor and freshness. The fish is outstanding. Clean, rich, and clearly high quality. The balance and consistency put this among the best sushi I’ve had anywhere.
This is the kind of sushi that makes you slow down and enjoy every bite.
The owners and staff are warm and welcoming, and the service is excellent without ever taking focus away from the food.
If you’re looking for truly great sushi with fresh fish and incredible quality, do not miss this place.

Excellent service and great food with good portion sizes. I have celiac, and they had gluten free soy sauce and very kind, knowledgable staff. You should bring your own wasabi since theirs contains gluten, but for everything else they were able to offer alternatives. There was clean private bathrooms and the toilet had a lid (+has a baby changing station).
I had the green tea, miso soup, salad with mustard sauce, seaweed salad app, we split the 53 piece sashimi + sushi boat with subs, and I had the mango ice cream which was sweet and delicious, my friend had the green tea ice cream which tasted like matcha.
This is a great place to visit if you just hit the slopes. I recommend this place if you need to accommodate a gluten free diet.

Such an amazing little hidden gem in Thornton. Compared to some of the best Sushi I’ve ever eaten worldwide. Tip: Reserve! It’s busy for a reason.
