Never had a worse experience, the food is terrible. Not even close to good for the price. I’ve never seen a burrito with less meat. Even wanted to charge me extra for a tiny cup of sour cream while eating in. Tamale was just dough and no meat. All the tables are dirty!

I hate disappearing reviews so let’s do this again! La Taquiza is a family run restaurant and I believe they have 2 other locations. I frequent the Northbrook location as it’s closer to our house.
We have been coming here for many years and we always get good service and never had a bad experience with the employees. Now is it the best taco place in the world no, but it is a very solid place to grab a quick bite to eat at a reasonable price. We will continue to come here and my kids have started to enjoy it so many more years to come from our family.

First time here and was not happy, food was cold and no flavor. There’s no service with having to get everything yourself and lady at the front was annoyed when asked for anything. Our order was ready within 5 minutes so clearly nothing was fresh and order was messed up. Not authentic whatsoever, wouldn’t give this food to my dog.

We moved from Des Plaines to Charlotte, NC. We decided to make a trip back to our old stomping ground! We got off the plane and went directly to La Taquiza! We love and missed their asada burritos! Fresh and great service! Maybe we have to move back…

Been here three times… first time was okay. Second time I ordered churros and they were still cold and doughy in the middle. Asked for a remake and they had an attitude. Third time, I asked for extra sauce because they gave me one sauce for 4 tacos and they again had an attitude. When I was willing to pay, that’s when she finally offered one extra bc they had a minimum fee. The only person that doesn’t have an attitude is the young boy who is up front cash.
