Teddy’s is a great place for some homestyle food. I ordered a BLT and they did not skimp on the bacon, which was cooked perfectly. The service was fantastic, with the servers being attentive and friendly; I almost felt like a regular, even though it was my first time there. The overall atmosphere is like a classic diner. Definitely adding this to my list of spots to eat at in Oshawa!

Oh my goodness! Teddy’s is amazing. The food is all homemade, delicious, and the portions are massive. Well worth the price. Service was great too, super friendly. I grew up coming to this place and it really hasn’t changed a bit.

A relic from the past is still going but I’m not sure that is a good thing.
Dinner on a Sunday evening at 7pm was met with immediate news that they were closing at 8pm so we were told to rush and order asap.
Our server was rough around the edges, very short and to the point.
Food was good. A nice portion sized deli sandwich and crispy, golden cut fries. This is why you’re coming to Teddy’s and the cooks are making it happen.
The decor is horribly dated, the restaurant hasn’t been updated since the 90s. It’s like looking at a parody restaurant from a movie with all the sports and tchotchke memorabilia on the walls from years gone by. It’s in a desperate need of an update.
My biggest gripe was the server taking our deserts order while in the middle of vacuuming the restaurant because they were closing soon and she obviously wanted to go home. It doesn’t make you feel very welcome.
They also locked the doors and told us we had to leave from the side door instead of the main entrance.
I don’t know if I’ll be back, it doesn’t feel like they want me to come back.

We just recently dine in at Teddy’s restaurant with my family. We love all the food that we ordered. Plus, the dessert was delicious. We plan to go back again and enjoy the delicious food and relaxing atmosphere.

Had the turkey dinner because where else can I get a turkey dinner in August. I got the smaller size 6oz and was still left with enough left overs for a whole other meal.
My partner got the patty melt which the server said was her favourite dish. It was yummy had a lot of pickles/dill flavour if you like that.
Quick and friendly service. Had to wait maybe 5 minutes to get a table on a weeknight around 6:30pm.
Would go again.

A place that hasn’t changed in decades for all the right reasons. Staff are friendly, customer focused and work hard. The restaurant is clean and well maintained. The food quality and quantity is top notch. Highly recommend Teddy’s. It is a staple in the Oshawa and Greater Durham community.

Came for lunch on a Saturday. Got a table straightway and they had turkey special and my daughter got the steak with mushroom gravy. Both were excellent and the turkey was good enough for two people. Fantastic service by Kimberly.

Stopped into this restaurant meeting family halfway from Trenton to Oakville and so glad we did. Food was amazing and fresh and all home made. Dessert was even better than the food if that’s possible. Tracy was so great, we will be back.
