Tonight we had a wonderful dinner at Christine’s. The char fish dinner special with saffron cream sauce and green beans was over the top. They had some nice wine choices. We got a bottle for a reasonable price. The wait staff was pleasant and helpful. I went back to thank the owner for the fantastic meal.

It has a great atmosphere, the server was awesome. However we ordered the chicken and the sable fish, both were overcooked and rather chewy.

The appetizer for the fish cheeks were also extremely tough. The raw Ahi Tuna was alright though.

The limoncello cake was incredible though, would recommend

Small conscientious focused menu, but still varied and diverse. I meant to eat light but enjoyed an interesting order of the oysters with a effervescent white wine + the gigantes beans in the most rich delicious tomato sauce topped with mozzarella(?) & I added crab. Perfect for a fall eve & so filling for one.
Cozy atmosphere (intimate dining space, but more room in the bar!) and sincere service! I tried the wine prior to order, had questions about the menu and felt cared for. I’ll definitely come back when in Seattle.

Really quite good. Kind and attentive staff. The lamb had me drooling, it was so flavorful and tender. Limoncello cake was a hit. Awesome dinner spot.

This is a neighborhood gem! We wandered in for dinner on a Friday and we’re blown away! It’s a quaint, cozy place with white table cloths, wine glasses and candles, yet unpretentious. We started with fried brie which was fantastic, gooey and crunchy with a sweet compote and nuts, then we had rabbit croquet, I felt the rabbit was a little underseasoned but when swiped through the sauce was a flavorful bite. The lamb shank was tender and fell off the bone with a tart cherry ju that I would put on just about anything. My husband got venison loin with a fantastic crust and cooked perfectly, the greens are the best I’ve ever had, and we moved here from New Orleans. I just had to try the fresh made pasta and that did not disappoint either! I could go on and on and not say enough about how great this place is!

Great food. Charming spot in Wallingford.

Unfortunately, the service was very lackluster. Perhaps it was an off night. Took over 50 minutes to get an order in. Food arrived nearly 2 hours after we sat down.

Yes it was a busy Saturday. Yes our server was busy / working hard. But it was unacceptably slow.

The food itself was delicious, with the grilled Haloimi and pork chop being especially noteworthy.

I hope it was just an off night – really wanted to love this spot!

After a long day of exploring Seattle by foot and enjoying the charms of the Fremont and Greenlake neighborhoods I worked up an appetite and ended up at this cozy restaurant.

The vibe was one of a fine dining restaurant yet simultaneously laid back and unpretentious.

My server, Carly, was quick to greet me and was obviously very knowledgeable about the menu. Throughout my meal she showed her warm personality and not once ever made me feel ignored or rushed.

I was very hungry when I walked in and everything on the menu looked great to me and I was having a hard time deciding. I asked Carly to order for me what she would if she were dining in. She recommended the cherry quinoa salad with added chicken for an appetizer, the bolognese for dinner, and the Panna Cotta with fig compote for dessert.

The cherry quinoa salad was amazing. The almonds, quinoa, cherries, chicken, dressing, and greens were all very fresh and came together quite well and was the perfect representation of fresh northwest summer produce. The added chicken also made it more filling than I think it would have been without it.

The bolognese was also very delicious. The house made noodles, meat sauce, and Parmesan cheese were also very fresh and were clearly made for each other on this dish. I would definitely order this again.

The Panna Cotta was the perfect ending to this meal. The custard was perfectly sweetened and the fig compote was its perfect compliment.

Over all I had a great experience here and would definitely come in again the next time I visit Seattle.

Enjoyed our lunchtime visit. 1st time for me, but my friend is a regular. The Mortadella Melt was good and he had the salad with chicken added. Will return for dinner with my spouse. Returned in July 2025, also enjoyed the Beef Brisket and Grilled Chicken apple sandwiches, and Steak salad.

I had high hopes for this place, but unfortunately, it was a mixed experience.

The staff were friendly and welcoming, but the overall experience was disappointing.

We waited about 15 minutes after being seated before someone came to take our order, and our main dishes didn’t arrive until around 45–50 minutes later. It seemed like there weren’t enough servers for the number of customers.

The cleanliness was decent—tables and utensils were clean—but there were several bees flying around inside the restaurant, which made me quite uncomfortable.

As for the food, the truffle fries were tasty (fries are always a safe bet ), but the seafood nero risotto was very underwhelming. The crab meat on top was cold, and the rest of the seafood wasn’t warm either, possibly because of the long wait. The rice itself lacked any seasoning—just plain rice with squid ink and cold seafood. Unfortunately, it just didn’t taste good.

Wife is GF and this place is a scratch kitchen, which means most dishes can be modified. (Not sure if they had GF pasta to swap in their pasta dishes) Made a reservation for Valentine’s Day and had a wonderful time. Ordered a bottle of a GSM from France, which was stellar. Server was awesome and took good care of us. I had the Sable fish and wife had the pork loin. Had a half dozen oysters outside of ER months and they were excellent. The champagne/mango sorbetto we had for dessert was unlike any sorbetto i’ve ever had — amazing! Will return!
