For appetizers, we had chicken satay, spring rolls and Bangkok shrimp. Everything was simply delicious, but the shrimp was outstanding!! We ordered shrimp salad, Namyok beef, red curry with chicken and Thai lamb for lunch. The shrimp salad and red curry was delicious, the Thai lamb was flavorful, but the namtok beef was one of the best grilled beef dishes we had ever eaten. For dessert, we were slightly full so all of us shared a sweet fried banana dish with a scoop of ice cream.
Excellent food, great ambiance, great hosts, and a wonderful dining experience!!
08/19/2022: Visited again today by myself. I had chicken satay and Wonton soup and ordered the pineapple fried rice with chicken and shrimp, to bring home for dinner. The satay was wonderful with the thick peanut sauce to go with it. I could slather that stuff on anything and eat it!! I love the Wonton soup, very beefy, porky, brown broth with greens, ground pork, and those plump, juicy, perfectly done Wonton floating around. OMG, YUM!! My eldest son and I love the pineapple fried rice. It’s never enough when we share an order, so, of course we have to order two! Lucky for me, he wasn’t there today! Go, just go…
The food arrived almost as soon as we ordered and it was hot. So it’s a 10/10 on wait time. They had some pleasant Asian Massage parlor kind of music playing. And it was relaxing.
The menu had a dedicated vegetarian section. 10/10. I had ordered the Pad Thai Jae and of course the Thai iced tea.
The Thai iced tea lacked strength and sweetness. The Pad Thai was a bit oily and had about 5-6 pieces of Tofu with some huge pieces of cabbage. I appreciate the peanut powder. But, the overall taste was 6/10.
My friend had ordered the chicken fried rice and it was spicy. His eyes started to tear up and between the two of us we had asked for water, a total of 4 times. He badly wanted water as the spiciness got to him.
But there were only two people Manning the tables and taking phone orders that it took whole of five minutes to get some water to our table. Service and friendliness of service and taste had me ding a star down.
