I finally made it to The Mermaid House Cafe & Wine Bar, and it did not disappoint! ♀️ They happened to have a wine tasting event the day we went, so all the tables were set up for that — we ended up sitting at the bar and enjoyed a lovely glass of wine. We met the owners and several of the bartenders, and everyone was so friendly and accommodating. The atmosphere was great, and the wine tasting setup looked amazing! We can’t wait to come back — either on a regular day or to experience one of their tastings ourselves. The prices were very reasonable and I can see why people will find this place amazing. Highly recommend!

The music was truly next level, creating the perfect vibe without being overpowering. It complemented the evening perfectly and made the experience even more memorable.
A big thank you to the staff for their exceptional service and attention to detail. My wife and I couldn’t have asked for a better place to celebrate our evening. Perfect grand opening night. We’ll definitely be back soon!

My husband and I were passing through and decided to stop by The Mermaid House for a quick drink. Hours later, we left only because we had a commitment to meet up with friends. Their wine selection, delicious charcuterie boards, and excellent service are just a few examples of what we found so enjoyable about this place. We will always stop by whenever we find ourselves in Satellite Beach. Do yourself a favor and grab a drink or five!

This is exactly the kind of place we’ve been needing beach side! It has everything. Classy atmosphere, music focused, and highest quality in all their food and drinks!
My wife and I just went tonight for our anniversary and we had such a blast. Char Good played and as always, she was phenomenal! Service was top notch even though the place was completely packed, but we felt like vips chatting it up with the owners who were right there in the middle of everything making sure everyone was having a great time.
We ordered several drinks, and I was so impressed at how solid the cocktails were considering they don’t have a full liquor license. We tried their signature drink, Mermaid Water, the Watermelon Spritz, and the Espresso Martini. I was particularly impressed by the latter considering a traditional one has so much liquor in it. Their version was fantastic! It was very apparent that every single drink was made with fresh ingredients. I could taste little bits of actual watermelon in the spritz!
The food did not disappoint either! We had the shrimp ceviche, the mushroom flatbread, and the buratta salad. I can’t express enough how high quality this all was. Really impressive, and not surprising after seeing how fresh the ingredients for the drinks were. They obviously went all in as far as quality ingredients go which really adds to the overall experience. So many places these days cut corners, but that is not the case here.
I’m so excited The Mermaid House has opened up here at the end of Eau Gallie! We really needed a high quality music focused venue near the beach, and from what I hear, it will be very jazz focused. Please do yourself a favor and check it out. If nothing else, it’s a fantastic place to bring a date!
Pro Tip: There are six beers on tap, but their can/bottle menu has a bunch of cool stuff you don’t see very often so be sure and check that out!

I went with my daughter on a Wednesday night. They had a a guitarist playing music. We felt very welcomed. It was nice to hear music and be able to talk. We ordered the happy hour flight and two small plates. The food was was delicious and many choices. After the flight we ordered a bottle of wine which was 25% off. The service was amazing. We will definitely be back. Anyone who likes wine will love this place. They have a book club. They even have a comic for wine drunk. You will not be disappointed

We wanted to try a local place that we could take the kids and was different. Our 7 and 3 year old both loved the flatbread pizza and the wine flight and Brie with fruit and nuts was incredible. We ended up purchasing two bottles of wine to take home from the wine samples we tried. Sara was awesome and the cafe is clearly very well thought out and intentional. We will definitely be back.

We found this gem after seeing their name on social so we decided to check it out. Location beachside is perfect. The bartender Sarah is absolutely lovely, she’s attentive to customers, friendly and knowledgeable, which landed us to our next night out at mermaid house. Although tonight was only their second murder mystery. You should definitely get a ticket and attend the next. What a fun event for all ! We are looking forward to wine and comedy on December 4.

I really wanted to do a wine flight. Our waiter was new so he asked, who I assume was the manger of the place if they could still give us a wine flight. She said no since they stop them at 6 and it was about 615 when we got there. Which was fine, we ordered a regular glass of wine and food. However, a couple showed up after us and asked for wine flights and she gave them 2 wine flights. When I asked our waiter if those were wine flights he said yes then just looked at me. Then even a bit later a table of 5 people sat down and every single one of them also received wine flights. I tried to ask the manager myself because that just seemed rude and she ignored me and avoided walking around our table and never said a word. I was really excited to try this place and it has been on my list since they opened, however, the service was terrible and it the manager was just rude. She has an accent and I believe her name was Joanna.

We had an amazing time last night at Mermaid House! The service was the best we had on our week in Florida. The bartenders and staff are genuinely the nicest and truly care about the great hospitality they give! The clientele and other guests were great as well. Felt like being in a room full of friends. The ambiance and live music were great! Not too loud so you can actually enjoy conversations with people. Great charcuterie, flatbreads and unique wines from all over the world that were priced so well. Thanks to Kyle and Jennifer and the entire staff! It was a real treat!
