It has been a long time since I’ve been treated so rudely and waited so long for sub par food! In a gas station no less. First I tried to call in my order and the phone was put down and I waited 5 minutes listening to conversations till I hung up. The lady at the cash register was completely out of it. I repeated my order several times and on top of that she was rude. Then after I paid for my order she tried to offer my order to someone else and was also rude about that.
This is a good place to get a burrito on the fly but don’t try anything too adventurous. I ordered the turkey Reuben and today I have diarrhea.

Who knew some of the best food I’ve had in NM could be found inside a lil gas station? Please don’t pass this place up, it’s great!! We heard it was really good and decided to give it a try and we weren’t disappointed. I had the quesadilla and it was awesome. There are so many items on the menu to choose from. It was made quick and the staff were very helpful and kind. If I’m ever in the Pecos area again, I’m definitely stopping! Hope others try and enjoy this spot!!

Oh my goodness. We enjoy coming up to Pecos NM. Pancho’s, at the Shell station, serves up some very tasty, fresh cooked, authentic New Mexican food. Service was pretty darn fast. I had the four chicken hard shell tacos with rice and beans. My husband had the spicy hot carne adovada plate. We both enjoyed our meals. Enough food for another meal each. It is takeout food only.

I have consistently heard good if not great things about the food. It’s a wierd set up as you order& pay the gas attendant but the menu has interesting options. I tried the chicharrones power burrito because it was said to be the most popular. I found it to be small in size but plenty of food. It is very rich. The texture of the chicharrones is not for me. I did like that the burrito had great flavor, plenty of red & green chile and was bursting at the seems. Get plenty of napkins and a water, it’s very salty. I think they close by 8pm

I got food poisoning from this place, and the food had was bland, and how can I make a better burrito than someone from New Mexico.

My wife and I ate here a couple of times during a three day stay in Pecos, NM. The smothered burritos were very good. I had green chile cheeseburgers that were also good. This is a takeout only establishment. So do not expect to dine in.
