We went for veterans day. It was awesome. They had other service members greeting us and sharing service stories. We were given our badge of service sticker that represented our branch of service. They had choir, honor guard which went to different areas of restaurant to honor and serenade the vets. We thank you.

Visited this Golden Corral last night for dinner last night. As always it’s crowded. Food was good, always hot, the steak line was long the entire stay of our dinner I didn’t bother to have any, (there should be a better way to efficiently service that many people at the steak station since it’s popular). I don’t mind food on the floor if eventually it gets cleaned up by a staff soon after, but either the food scraps on the floor was too much to manage on a busy night, or it was intentionally being neglected. Maybe it’s me, but basic cleanliness at an eating establishment should be top priority. The highlight of the evening was our server (Sarah) she was attentive, each time she passed us and always took plates off our table, and that made the difference in our dining experience.

We used to love going here until we seen a cockroach crawling by the food! Absolutely disgusting, nothing done for the inconvenience at all. After paying over $100 for our family to eat just to see a cockroach. I informed management and the guy just had me show another lady. He cared more about getting his to-go order out. They proceeded to use unmarked chemicals near the food and dirty rags to clean around the food. Definitely will not be coming back. Tempted to give the health department a call as well. Included a ohoto where we seen the cockroach.
Do better golden corral! You just make too much money a day to be a dirty establishment.

Golden Corral has amazing food! I’ve come to this golden corral a few times and it’s been great every time. They have a great atmosphere with very attentive employees that seem like they are genuinely happy to serve you. All the food is always hot, fresh, and delicious! I especially love their carrot cake and their French toast. All their dishes are super good

Food was hot! Didn’t run out of anything as some of the Golden Corrals I’ve been to. The only thing was that the brownies were hard. So I asked for new ones. They did give me fresh! The ice cream was soft as well.

Went to breakfast with my mom. It was pretty busy because Santa was there for kids to see. Even though it was busy, Michelle was great waiting on us. She was on top of asking if we needed anything and kept up on our drinks, even though she had multiple tables. Her smile is always so welcoming. Her service was great, and has always been great when we have had her before. We go often as this is one of my moms favorite spots to eat. I just wanted to put in a review for her and Golden Corral as I was very impressed she was still on top of it and very friendly even through the amount of people due to Santa and the holidays! Thank you as always Michelle!!

I have been to this golden corral so many times but I went tonight and I’ve never been more disappointed. At first the waitress didn’t bring all silverware and after a long wait I had to asked a different waitress for it. Once my waitress realized it she didn’t say sorry and avoided our table. The food was completely horrible horrible everything tasted extremely nasty like everything. The person running the steak station was very rude and ignored people. The food is usually very good but tonight was absolutely disgusting and horrible.

It was so dirty. The air even felt musty and stuffy. There was garbage and crumbs everywhere. The kitchen was disgusting. The chairs were sticky everywhere. The tables were sticky. Everything just felt so dirty and rundown. If I could give zero stars I would.

Had a wonderful time coming here with my family tonight. The food was good, the place was clean, and our server, Michelle was fantastic. She was good with the kids and helped my 4 year old surprise me by eating all his food before I got back with a new plate. The service was amazing and Michelle deserves a special thank you for everything she provided for our table

We have been dining at GC Layton for several years now. The service is not consistent. There are rude employees and servers but there are great ones too. However, my last experience left much to be desired. Other than the salad bar and waffles, which I made myself, the food was not to my liking as it was either too cold, undercooked or overcooked. Further, some of the entrees were cold. My peach lemonade was nasty. I found a strand of hair in the sweet potato casserole and mentioned it to my server. It’s unclear what action of any was taken. Later that evening I was sick to my stomach. I don’t know if it was related. I don’t know if we will return.
