Very nicely cooked steak, especially given that this is a hotel restaurant. Breakfast has good options and espresso available. Staff is generally attentive and helpful. But no sparkling water? A very good option if you are staying at Belamar and you are likely to be quite happy working on your computer during dinner but I wouldn’t go for date night.

During my stay at the Belamar Hotel, I had a wonderful experience at the restaurant on the second floor. Before I checked in, I needed a place to work remotely, and the staff went above and beyond to help me connect to the Wi-Fi. They were incredibly attentive, making sure my coffee cup was always full. I ordered waffles and eggs—both were delicious, though I only managed to snap a photo of the waffles! A unique touch was the check, which is presented inside a book where guests are encouraged to leave a note. Overall, it’s a charming spot for both work and a great meal.

I had my baby shower here in February. I can’t rave enough about how AMAZING the staff is. John, Antonio, and Melendez all catered to my party and gave us such a VIP experience! They were so easy to work with and more than accommodating. I couldn’t have asked for a more perfect turnout. From the planning and logistics of the party, to the execution the day of. Even my guests spoke to me after about how much they appreciated the staff!
Now as far as the food options for brunch…. It was a freaking 10-course buffet! What more can you ask for? All the food was fresh and delicious. Whenever food items ran low, the kitchen and staff were on top of it and kept all food replenished and fresh. My personal favorites were the Huevos Rancheros and the warm beignets for dessert! Soooooo good! We also appreciated the bottomless mimosas, bloody Mary’s, and Irish coffees!
I hope they keep their same staff and menu for a long time because we will definitely be back! Thank you, John, Antonio, and Melendez for a memorable baby shower I will always remember. 🙂

Great customer service! No denying that. My Bloody Mary was good. Bartender Antonio was great. Breakfast ultimate burrito…. wasn’t what I expected but it was good. Eggs cooked medium how I like them, fresh avacado, ham bits, and some Chipotle sauce….all good. Salsa on the side was very good. Vanilla latte was good as well. Price wise… for the atmosphere, location, presentation, and quality… the price is justified. My drink definitely worth the price.

This was a very pleasant experience. A very small place but OMG! It delivers. The food was about as perfect as could be. The ambience was quaint and very relaxing. The food was very good. This is an adult place which makes it real nice. Definitely going back to try the rest of the menu. Across from a small and a couple of miles from the beach.

I ordered the chicken and waffles breakfast meal with a side of coffee. The waffles were fluffy and delicious. The chicken was crispy and seasoned. Over all it was a delicious plate. I’m glad I got up early enough to have it.

Located in the second floor of the Belamar Hotel, the Second Story eat & drink restaurant and bar has a friendly and inviting contemporary settings overlooking Valley St. The staff is friendly and attentive. Great place for a social gathering as it feels low key.
It offers a full bar with draft beer on tap. Happy hours runs 4PM to 7PM daily except on Sundays. Good offering of wines and champagne. There are three TV showing sports however not all seat areas are able to view them.
Also offer a decent variety of appetizers and dinner portions to please all appetites. Prices range from $6 to $32 per plate.

Lovely food and quiet atmosphere. The restaurant was not busy — even on the Saturday before Christmas. Excellent food, and they even made an off menu grilled cheese upon request, beautifully presented.

This restaurant atmosphere is sleek and cozy for couples, gatherings, and families. My husband and I are finishing up our stay. I am newly pregnant and we also brought our 1 year old son. The breakfast staff was professional, efficient, respectful, menu fluent, attentive, and personable to all. We saw the same 3 gentlemen mostly every morning and they truly are the reason we chose to have breakfast at our hotel instead of going out. I only wish every hotel breakfast was like them. We tipped well and absolutely plan on booking this hotel next year. We hope they have the same exact staff.
O…and we tried the waffles and chicken, steel cut oats, fruit, huevos ranchers, club sandwich, crispy fish tacos, mac and cheese, and breakfast burrito. It all was SO good! Even when we called down to order dinner twice, the timing was fast and the food was always fresh and hot. The OJ was absolutely refreshing in the mornings! Figured I should say something about the food too. You can’t go wrong with anything here. My husband truly enjoyed his bar drinks here as well.
