Didn’t take anything out for dinner and had to figure out what to eat. Decided to try BBQ Underground and lemme tell you it didn’t disappoint. Got the “all the meats” and boy was it all the meats. Food was amazing and so was the sauces. Can’t describe the joy the moniks brought me meatballs and bacon i mean cmon what could be better. 10/10 would recommend and will be going again. The owner was also great, personable and is a mean cook.

Fantastic BBQ spot at one of the worlds most famous disc golf courses. I’ve been here over 20 times and the menu is always evolving and new menu items appear regularly. You can’t go wrong with. Brisket or pulled pork sandwich but if you you see smoked pastrami, pulled ham or the pork ribs on the specials they are a must get item. The sides are also delicious but be careful of the spicy pickles they have some heat. This is the perfect meal after playing 18 holes on a legendary disc golf course.

Came to Maple Hill to play a round with my buddy! Course was amazing. Ended up at the BBQ Underground Deck for lunch, and what a pleasant surprise that was. Burnt ends were amazing Brisket was juicy, cuke salad and Mac and cheese were on point. The deck has a beautiful view. Can’t wait to get back

The BBQ sundae was amazing… brisket, pulled pork and a moink (ask about it) can’t go wrong. The Mac and cheese was great in it too. Definitely come check it out!

Stopped in for lunch on Saturday. Ordered the brisket sandwich and a Dino rib. Brisket was great, and a very fair price for the sandwich. Plenty of meat, free add on toppings – spicy pickles and pickled onions. But the star was the dino rib. One fed two of us easily for dinner. Will definitely be back to try other offerings off the menu. The staff were super friendly, answering questions and were excited about having us come in. Would strongly recommend swinging in and grabbing a plate!

Standing at the foot of the stairs leading to the BBQ Underground, I knew this was going to be special. You could smell the smoked deliciousness calling to you. Like you are walking into a back yard with food in the smoker. Trust me, the drive is worth it! This is the BEST BBQ I think I have ever had. The pulled pork was the highlight, but the wings and the brisket were outstanding. The wings can even come as a side! You gotta like a place that just adds more meat as a side to other meats! Five or six sauces if you want them, but the food is so good you might not use them and just enjoy the rub he uses. Bacon wrapped meatballs! Who does that? So much good food. It so happens we were there on a quiet day, so we had great service from “Father Brisket“ himself (the owner), but the service doesn’t matter, I would wait as long as it took, and still give it five stars. In fact, it has never had a rating less than 5 (mine is the 90th review)! Casual and friendly, with the very best food, plus an outdoor patio that gives a great view. You gotta go here, you will not regret it. Those stairs? Those are the stairway to heaven!

Amazing barbecue, brisket was best we’ve ever had. Sauces, sides and everything else were also delicious.
Location is a little out of the way, but inside space is great– large, open, clean, plenty of seating and football, darts and an arcade game.

If you’re looking for mouthwatering BBQ that hits every note of smoky, tender perfection — this is the place. The meats were cooked to absolute perfection — juicy, flavorful, and packed with that slow-smoked richness you can only get from true pitmasters. The ribs fell right off the bone, the brisket melted in my mouth, and the pulled pork had the perfect balance of seasoning and sauce. The view of the disc golf course from inside or the amazing wrap around deck is absolutely stunning and the variety of beer and beverages hits the mark.

The sides were just as impressive — creamy mac and cheese, delicious slaw that tasted homemade. You can tell everything is made with care and passion. The staff were friendly, attentive, and made the whole experience even better.

Whether you’re a BBQ lover or just want an unforgettable meal, this place is a must-try. I can’t wait to go back for more!

The owner/waiter/chef Chris was extremely helpful and nice. We arrived a 1/2 hour before closing on an icy rainy Friday night. He escorted my physically challenged wife across the lot and up the stairs to a table. The food was superb, outstanding, really uniquely flavored bbq, served quickly and priced moderately. Needless to say, we’ll be back!! It’s a tad hard to find, at a Disk Golf facility in a seemingly residential area but WELL WORTH THE EFFORT!!
