Amazing! So good this was the second time we visited in a week. This time I got the prime rib and my husband got the chicken fried steak dinner. Everything, even the steamed veggies, were cooked perfectly. We also had the fried green beans appetizer and it was surprisingly very delicious, especially with the dipping sauce. The kid’s menu meals come with a drink and a scoop of vanilla ice cream with either chocolate or caramel sauce, for $7. My 5 year old has has the pepperoni pizza both times, and usually hates crust, but ate it on their pizza. My 7 year old got a cheeseburger this time and it was actually a really good sized burger. We shared a slice of the pomegranate parfait cheesecake (I believe that was the name) and it was great! Our server was great as well. Hands-down the best restaurant in the Helena area!

My fish and chips were okay; they were a little soggy, but everything else was delicious. The clam chowder was flavorful, the side salad was simple but delicious, and the steak was juicy and tender! the fish and chips arent a winner, but the restaurant deserves a second chance.

Love the atmosphere and the waitress was delightful and full of information and anecdotes that kept us smiling. The best part? The food!! Delicious fried calamari with chipotle aioli, the best Cuban pork loin sandwich with a sweet n spicy mustard I’ve ever had, and a delicious flame broiled mac n cheese burger (didn’t think they’d go together well, but it was a perfect blend of flavors). Everything was homemade and we loved every bite! We highly recommend if you’re in Clancy! Oh, and we also heard from locals about the caramel apple or candied walnut praline cinnamon roll french toast (yes, made from homemade cinnamon rolls!) for breakfast, so we’ll be back for brunch on Sunday!

Been a hot minute since I’ve been here. Clean, pleasant staff and good food. Lots of house made choices, along with gluten and vegetarian options. Better than a few years ago when I last was there. Sports on TV, pool tables, very warm building. Full service bar with unique cocktails and unique burgers. Nice out-of the way seating for groups/couple.

Update: I’ve had a couple of visits this year, both of which were disappointing. Mother’s Day breakfast buffet was likely our last visit. It was expensive, but the eggs were green and there was only a tiny selection of items. Hotels do a much better job. Makes me sad, because I really liked this place.
Old: I can’t believe the quality menu in this tiny town. It is a bit pricy, but well deserved as the food is outstanding. This restaurant would do well in the big city.

Best Mac and cheese I’ve ever eaten and one of the best filets I’ve ever eaten (roasted onion are an amazing complement to steak). The Brie cheese with jam is out of this world too. Overall, incredible food + nice atmosphere + friendly service + surprisingly good wine = awesome dinner and dining experience.

The staff was very helpful and I really enjoyed being in the friendly atmosphere. We enjoyed the pizza and great selection of local brews. There was a generous portion of nachos served up for all of us to enjoy as well. The waitress was quick to refill our drinks and check on all of our needs. It was a relaxing atmosphere after a long day on the road. The steaks and other menu items are great as well. If you are in the area stop in and get some great Americana.

We had a nice dinner at this restaurant the other day. It was our first time trying this place and we had a good experience. My husband had steak and gnocchi and I had salmon with broccoli. The food was very fresh and seasoned nicely. It was actually worth the money. We will be coming back.

This was a 4 star review this time. This is our favorite place to eat when we go out (which isn’t very often). We’ve always had great service and amazing food. However, I’m not sure if you have an entirely new staff or if tonight was just off (Sunday October 10). We ordered the coconut shrimp and the chicken tenders with salads and a side of Mac n cheese for our baby. Our waitress said she was new, and we are very adaptable and understanding of that. Our salads came first and were the typical side salad. Then our food came cold, chicken was wayyyy over cooked, and shrimp was literally in a basket with no sides. The mac n cheese came out cold like they took it out of the fridge (our 10 month old loved it). For $70+ Our food was less than sub par. We should have stayed home. We’re hoping this was a one time deal and won’t deter us coming back. We still tipped well because it’s not the waitress’ fault.
