I ended my shift here on this Independence Day since the Iron Skillet offered free meals for military and veterans. The food was actually very good at this location on this visit. Yes, there were times in the past when food was, let’s say.. not good. If the food stays this great here, I might have to put this location back on my stop list…

I would never go here again. The food was terrible, service almost as bad and it looks dirty. They tried to give me wilted broccoli and then told me it was because it reheated in the microwave. No!!! It was wilted. It looked like what broccoli looks like after it’s been in the fridge a week too long. Nevermind the fact that it had brown spots.

Don’t know how good the food is. Waitress was no were to be found for the first 15 minutes and disapears again after taking the drinks order. When I confronted her about what was going on she let me know that I don’t have dine in there. O yeah and she had only 2 tables in the whole restaurant. What is the point of keeping the doors opeif you got nothing to offer. Waisted my time.

I have been in many Truck Stops over the years. The Iron skillet was always a trusted place for me but this visit disappointed me greatly. The food was over cooked, the waitress felt giving a customer a cracked coffee cup was perfectly fine, and the facility itself was sub standard in comparison to many of the other Petro Truck Stops.

Workers are always rude. They called the cops on my friend bc she was in the bathroom for 20 minutes she has IBS so this isn’t unusual. But it’s ridiculous and embarrassing for her or anyone that this would happen to and then having to explain at all why they were in there longer than hell who even times those things honestly? But you get the picture what she was doing poor thing.
