Deep-dish pies are the specialty of this casual Italian chain (some locations are carryout-only).

Numero Uno Pizza was absolutely on point, delicious as always, but the real highlight is the charm of this place. It keeps those classic Valley vibes alive. It feels like stepping into a retro pizza spot in a futuristic sci-fi movie that somehow never lost its soul. There’s even a sign that says ‘These are the good old days,’ and that sums it up perfectly. Chill atmosphere, good people, and great food. The front staff genuinely strikes up conversation and makes you feel welcome. You can tell they care about the food and the experience. On a Friday night, this is exactly the kind of place you want for a solid take-home pizza. Support spots like this so future generations can experience what made the Valley special.

A great place to enjoy a quiet, unhurried lunch and simply savor the moment. The food is consistently excellent. The house salad is always fresh and delightful, and the Romano puffs are absolutely to die for — one bite and you’ll forget the woes of the world!
As a vegetarian, I don’t always have a wide range of choices, but their Alfredo (sans chicken) is so good and satisfying. They also offer vegetarian selections on their pizzas, which I truly appreciate.
Highly recommended for a relaxed and delicious dining experience!

Love this little spot to grab a delicious and inexpensive lunch. The staff is amazing and service is top notch. I had the pepperoni pizza with salad lunch special and it was fresh with good quality ingredients prepared perfectly. Will definitely be making this one of my go to places.

5 stars all around, this place is great! I love the deep dish pizza, and so do my kids, I’m always greeted as I walk in, everyone I’ve met over there has been awsome, they have a laid back approach that is refreshing, but there is no laidback when it comes to service. They are on it. I never leave reviews, but this spot definitely deserves the love!

Very friendly customer service! Cashier has a great laid back attitude. Great atmosphere! Has 2 arcade machines (fast furious & marvel vs capcom), but the pizza is the main attraction! Ordered the xlarge works pizza for carry out! That sweet crust mmmmm! You can feel the weight of the pizza, they don’t skimp on toppings. Would buy here again!

We bragged to our kids about Numero Uno’s great pizza insisted they try it for new Year’s Eve. We did pick up. The place was clean and employees really friendly. As for the pizza…Not sure if it changed. The cheese pizza tasted strange like plastic and bland. The works pizza tasted like ingredients were old.

I ordered an original deep dish for my autistic grandbabies and they loved it. Also ordered another deep dish original with ½ with anchovies, mushrooms, garlic, basil, olives, and the other ½ with chunks of tomato, cheese, pepperoni and jalapeños, also Mango Sweet Habanero wings with a side of ranch – everything was a hit. The pizza brought childhood memories from the late 80s’ – Numero Uno was in Marina Del Rey on Washington Blvd only a few step from the beach; right on the first structure bottom floor right hand side corner when facing the water. This family-friendly restaurant was my family’s stop and go after a full day of fun under the sun. I sent pics to my brother and parents because they always remember theit pizza. I will be returning again since now I live a few blocks from it. I found it on one of my walks and brough sweet memories.
To the public and no offense but Pizza Hut it doesnt how much they advertise is over rated. After the Numero Uno closed in Marina Del Rey I just couldn’t eat Pizza Hut pan crust pizza. I found it boring, flavorless crust and never satisfying and certainly nowhere near even close to the original thick crust flavor of ‘Numero Uno’.
Numero Uno is really and always has been the Numero Uno Pizza place in my book and it did originated in Southern California here in Northridge, CA – everyone must give tgis place a try I will guatantee you no better deep dish thick crust like Numero Uno. Something is really special about their thick crust.
As for me was bon appetite. And I should have ordered their antipasto because that salad was a hit when I was young.
P.s. if you like more savory pizza omit the Basil.

The exterior was a little dimly lit, but the staff were friendly and everything was so delicious! Other pizza shop’s Pepperoni from tends to taste too salty to me, but not here. The pizza crust was bready, but not too heavy and was delicious even just with the crust.

Visited this place for dinner with the family on a Saturday evening, and it was basically empty. We were greeted right away and told to choose any table. We waited about 5 minutes, and the young lady brought over menus and took our drink order. She messed up on my wife’s drink, but my wife refused to ask for her unsweet tea(she got a sweet tea instead). We ordered a medium pepperoni pizza New York style and a medium piza with the works. We also got some cheesy garlic bread and an uno caesar salad. The pizzas, cheesy garlic bread, and salad were all great. The salad was a good portion, and the ingredients were fresh. The only issue I experienced was that the lady attending to us never really returned to ask if we wanted refills or to bring the check. Parking, as far as I saw, was street parking. There is some parking in the back of the establishment, through the alleyway, but I didn’t see spaces pertaining to the restaurant itself. Overall the food is good service could be better, but we will be returning again.
