Before today I would have given them 3.5 stars, but today’s interaction has changed that. For over a year now I’ve picked up the same digital meal for my son, once a week. As the meal comes with a small drink I always request a change at the drive thru order station and pay an extra $1 to upgrade to a large drink at the widow. The difference between a small drink and a large drink is $.70 before tax, $.76 with tax, which is less than $1. Today the person at the windows told me I had to pay $2 extra for the large drink. Her explanation being that their prices had gone up. After asking her the actual price difference between the two sizes I pointed out that there was only a $.70 difference. Her response was that the extra $1.30 was for taxes. That is almost twice as much as the actual price difference! She then called over another employee who proceeded to explain to me that a small beverage is $2.99 and a large one is $3.69. Again I pointed out the $.70 difference. He then stated the extra money they were now charging was for taxes. With taxes the small beverage cost $3.25 and the large beverage $4.01. That’s only $.76, which is still less than the extra dollar I have been paying.
At the end of it all, although the first employee originally stated that this week would be the last week they would accept the $1 for the beverage upgrade, she filled a small cup and gave me that instead the large cup she had in front of her. She stated that if I wanted a large drink I would need to make that change on the app when ordering. I tried to point out to her that although the app allows me to add various items to the burger for an upcharge, it does not give me an option to upgrade my drink, which is why I make the request at the drive thru station. However, all that brought me was a blank stare.
Yes, all of this for a measly dollar but at the end of the day it’s still my dollar. I’ve been overpaying for the beverage upgrade for over a year and now they want to pay almost triple the price difference. Ridiculous.

Honestly, I didn’t expect much, but Burger King’s chicken sandwich turned out tasty. The chicken patty was crispy outside and soft inside. The sandwich was well-assembled, and the portion size was fair for the price. Fries were decent too. Overall, a nice quick meal when you’re craving something simple.

The BK lounge is a magical place! The food here is incredible and we love the deals. Very nice interior although a little bit outdated it makes it really fun. Staff is friendly and food is always hot. Make sure to try the Maza Rella sticks, chicken nuggets, one dollar bacon cheeseburger, and jalapeño poppers. All are very good!

Great service. Clean and spacious. Delicious burgers and fries. New machine for drinks. The only inconvenience is locked restroom, you have to ask for the key. Very bright, kids love to sit in the car table. There is no play space in this restaurant.

As fast food goes, the Glen Cove Burger King is as good as it gets. Have always had %100 accuracy on drive through, whereas others in the area (drawing from the same worker population) have a very high rate of incomplete orders that you don’t always discover till you get home. This demonstrates superior training at this Burger King. The employees are always super friendly and very accommodating. I almost always go through the drive-thru, but the few times I’ve eaten inside, the facility, including the bathrooms, have been spotless. If you need something fast, their grilled burgers are the best of any of the fast food restaurants around.

At first I thought they just forgot my medium onion rings and fries. Upon getting home, I realized they messed up the entire order, even after my handing them the receipt for my missing fries and onion rings. I originally ordered an impossible whopper meal with no mayo and chicken sandwich meal. And they gave me a baconator, and whopper with extra mayo. Sorry, bad day, and I’m extra irritated. But, could they have looked at the receipt the second time, and realized it was entirely wrong?
