This place is amazing. 1st time there service amazing. Food was amazing. We ordered alot of different apps. Crawfish tails, Gatorade bites, lobster bisque. Then our meals came. If you love the taste of being in New Orleans this is your place. Go check it out.

I was extremely disappointed with my experience at Gulf Shores. We ordered a seafood boil, and it was honestly one of the worst I’ve had. The seafood did not taste fresh at all, and the entire dish lacked flavor. There’s a big difference between a seafood boil and simply boiled seafood, and unfortunately this was the latter. When someone orders a seafood boil, they expect bold seasoning and rich flavor, this had none.
To make matters worse, the service didn’t help the situation. The wait staff was not very welcoming or attentive, which added to the overall negative experience.
After eating here, I genuinely don’t understand the high ratings. Our visit was beyond disappointing, and I would not recommend this restaurant if you’re looking for flavorful, fresh seafood.

We had been told that Gulf Shores Restaurant & Grill was a very tasty place to try . As we were walking up , noticed they have an outdoor patio for dining . Inside was a dining area with lots of New Orleans decor to soak up . Our server , Nelly , was very polite & checked on us often . The time it took to get our food was ok . We had the lunch lobster alfredo , which was quite good . Also had the crawfish & shrimp etouffe along with jambalaya boat . The etouffe was very good with tasty crawfish chunks & good sized shrimp . The jambalaya ok , but a little to watery for our taste . Would highly recommend this great little spot to all …

Good Cajun food with falvorful dishes and ample portions. Came for dinner and had the gumbo, okra and gator tacos. All were tasty but would have enjoyed a bit more protein in the gumbo. Service was friendly and attentive and prices reasonable for the portions. A good option for dinner.

I wanted to have a relaxing evening dining out after a heavy workday. I went to this restaurant location in creve couer. Upon arrival, without welcoming me in, someone just told me to sit myself anywhere I like, so I walked in looking for a place to sit and someone from the kitchen area asked “what are you doing?”, I said I was told to pick a seat. He said “no, you need to sit at a proper place with designated server”, he briefly apologized for miscommunication but never came back to see how my dining was going. I was shocked but said “no problem”. There was a brief back and forth discussion with themselves about what just happened. Then my sweet server came got my drink and food order but never checked on how my food was, ketchup bottle was empty, I was almost done with my food when she came by rushing me to order dessert, that I got a chance to tell her about the ketchup bottle, she brought me a new one, then I was in the middle of eating my dessert (by the way it had a very hard crust and poor quality, nothing like before) when she suddenly drops off the check, again making me feel rushed. I also notice that the price they charged me for the pie is higher than what’s on the menu card. I simply point out that they need to update their dessert menu card. They not only didn’t offer to take the dessert price off my check after such poor experience, they didn’t even try to offer matching the price. I paid it all in full, left a tip but will never go back or recommend this location to anyone!

Great atmosphere, as always. I helped some elderly people outside and just knew I was gonna get a bomb meal. I did not. There were no scallops, which is the reason I went. We settled on the red snapper. I had a terrific old fashioned at the bar, but that was the highlight of my near $100 lunch spend. The spinach is not “creamed” and is a portion significantly less than what we would have gotten in the restaurant. Not only that, it’s a $2 upcharge! Why does spinach cost more? If I’m gonna be charged more, give me what I asked for. These three bites of food definitely aren’t creamed spinach. The cheesy grits were actually tasty, but a tad runny. The red beans and rice was more
like soup and had a whole bay leaf still in it. The snapper was a little over fried but tasty. Unfortunately, the worst part was not cutting off or properly applying citrus to the dark part of the meat, which left a fishy taste. This go around, the star of the show was the cornbread. The banana pudding cheesecake is misadvertised. It’s banana pudding FLAVORED cheesecake. There’s no banana pudding, and no bananas. Just flavored cheesecake. The service was A1. The Bulleit Rye old fashioned was A1. The food missed the mark by a wide margin, especially for the price.

This was our first time at this location and it did not disappoint! Atmosphere and food were great. Now we’ve been to all three locations and the best hands down in order are St. Peter’s, Creave Coeur then Edwardsvill.

This place has vibes, good food, and great service! I can’t wait to take my family back and try the crawfish boil! Traditional Louisiana style Cajun food. The grilled grouper was excellent light and fresh. The cheesy grits are delicious!

I googled Gator bites while on vacation in St. Louis and Gulf Shores Restaurant & Grill came up. What an awesome dine in experience it was. The total vibe was great, from the decor to the music to the staff. OMG, the food was soooo tasty and perfectly seasoned. If you are looking for Cajun cuisine, please do your taste buds a favor and visit this place, come back and thank me later !

I went there for my birthday. I called a week ahead and tried to make reservation for a party or 8 they said just walked in. This place gets packed on the weekend and it was a Saturday . I was getting nervous for not having a reservation.
So day comes as expected they didn’t have open seat available and we had to wait 30-40 minutes to get seated. FYI they don’t take reservations which sucks . The food took forever to come.
The food was really good tho. I had the crab cakes and shrimp combo they were very delicious. The price was a little steep in my opinion. Other than that I enjoyed the food.
I have 4 star on atmosphere not because it was ugly in fact it’s very festive inside but I think busy it gets it needs to expand
