Shawarma Tiger is easily one of the best hidden gems in Renton. If you’re looking for Mediterranean food that has bold flavor, huge portions, clean establishment, friendly staff and prices that are reasonable, you’ve found it
I was in the area for work and looked this place up and the reviews told the story. I ordered the lamb shawarma plate, and although it was the most expensive priced, it was money well spent. I had enough food from that one order to split into two meals that both filled me up… their rice was amazing, the lamb tasted clean and fresh, and their bread was perfectly chewy and soft.
They are not a huge establishment but do have indoor and outdoor seating as weather allows. Great vibe, friendly staff, and well worth trying if you haven’t already
I will definitely be back to try more of their menu and update my review.

I tried a few things, and the standout for me was the lentil soup. It was flavorful, comforting, and hands-down my favorite part of the meal. The falafel and shawarma were also solid—crispy, fresh, and not oily.

I ordered the fries with gyro meat, cheese, and garlic sauce, and WOW
The food was insanely juicy, flavorful, and cooked perfectly.
The gyro meat was tender and delicious, the cheese was melted just right, and the garlic sauce was absolutely amazing — creamy, rich, and perfectly balanced.
The fries were crispy on the outside and soft on the inside, and everything together tasted unreal.
You can really tell the food is made with care and love, not just thrown together.
This was honestly one of the best meals I’ve had in a long time.
Definitely not my last time here — I’ll be back to try more items for sure!

This is my 3rd time in 2 weeks! They have THE BEST hummus in town. Amazing! Lamb Shawarma was amazing too. Never overcooked and a good amount if portion. Service can certainly really slow but I still give 5 stars for the food.

Fabulous flavors and great spicing. Had lamb shawarma and the lamb/beef, both great. Baba ganush clearly freshly made and tangy. The owner came around and chatted with us, too; they import ingredients from abroad and it definitely tastes like it, especially for the baba ganush. Also, their juices are lovely and fresh, and the chai tea is also well spiced.

I heard about Shawarma Tiger through social media and I happened to be in the area on other business so I decided I had to check the place out. The Shawarma was so good I had to order more to go before I left. I had one of each of their Shawarma offerings and they gave us free fries and although I’m on a low carb diet I had to eat some and it was with kicking myself out of ketosis. With authentic Arabic and Mediterranean flavors and dishes, a very friendly staff and excellent service, enjoyable ethnic music and atmosphere, Shawarma Tiger is definitely an easy high recommendation.

The Baklava was really nice and there is free tea, so that was neat.
