My family and I came here for our first experience. We were looking for a new, great sushi spot, and this restaurant surpassed all of our expectations! I recommend getting a reservation as it got pretty packed just after 6:45 PM.
We had a reservation in one of their beautiful booths for 6:30 PM, and they kindly seated us when we arrived a little early. The restaurant is gorgeous, decked out in traditional wooden Japanese furniture and light fixtures. There is a sushi bar, counter and regular seating, and wonderful private boots with beautifully decorated curtains.
The waitresses were all kind and attentive here, promptly letting us know when things would be coming and timed the arrivals of our food well. We got a bunch of their fried appetizers to share, as well as Miso Soup. Everything was so delicious! Freshly fried or steamed, piping hot and flavourful. I also got their Matcha Bubble Tea to drink, which was very refreshing.
The star of the show was the sushi boat we ordered. One of the hardworking sushi chefs brought it to our table, and it was a feast to both our eyes and tummies! All of the fish was fresh and the salmon was melt-in-your mouth. The boat itself was Taku branded and easily fed the 5 of us.
We’ll 100% be coming back here for more delicious sushi soon!

Although a number of people were already dining, I got a seat right away in one of their private booths, both times. I was able to do a little bit of work and writing while I ate.
First time was a Monday and the special roll was delicious, as was the salmon sashimi and the seaweed salad
Second time, seaweed salad and a hand roll and sushi roll with salmon.
(If I remember to update the names of the items next time I go, I will)
Everything was tasty. Rice was fresh and all very well presented

Everything is fantastic. Staffs are really nice, helpful and kind. They are always being there to serve you better with good attitudes. Food is really delicious with fair price. We went to there on Friday night, but they would be willing to arrange a private room for you as not too many people at that time. That was a really great dinner time for my family. Highly recommended to all tourists who love Japanese food and look for a tasteful dinner experience.

I would give it 6 stars if I could! The food is amazing — the kids absolutely loved the sushi, and I really enjoyed the ramen. The service is top-notch: everyone is very nice and friendly, and the food is served very fast. The private room feels warm and cozy, which makes the dining experience even better. I really wish I had discovered this place on my last trip to Niagara. I will definitely come back again on my next visit!

Great vibes! Their squid is my favorite, and the dumplings are really good too. They have a lot of staff to assist you, though it would be nice to have a bell in the room to call them easily. Overall, it’s a really nice place to eat.

Everything was amazing! Fishes were very fresh and tasty. We love volcano and black dragon roll! The restaurant was crazy busy when we got there, but the servers were so sweet and efficient!! Highly recommend Taku sushi, DO NOT MISS OUT!!!
