Had some great conversations with several groups people, fun time listening to live metal music. Went to the patio, tables and benches were full but I saw an opening at one of the standing ones. Trying to be friendly, as I was with many others throughout the evening, I simply introduced myself. That was my mistake, as I quickly learned that it was a group of disgruntled nurses. Immediately they berated me and then within minutes other members of the same table threatened me with violence. Walked away from the interaction as they relentlessly jeered me. I moved inside to sit at the bar and reported it to the staff, then ordered myself a second drink. Instead, the staff pocketed my money, served me water, and later claimed that I instigated the entire situation.
Highly unfortunate situation that admittedly wasn’t great for anyone, so I’d happily apologize for any part of my involvement. But I’m not interested in being treated like that. There are better things to do with life.
