we really enjoyed this spot—it’s perched on a scenic little hill with great views, which sets a nice tone right off the bat. It’s counter service, but they bring the food to your table, which makes it feel a bit more relaxed and welcoming.

Super kid and dog friendly—plenty of space, and the staff didn’t seem fazed at all by a busy, lively crowd.

Food-wise, the short rib mac and cheese was tasty, though a little on the wetter side than I expected. The curry cauliflower bites were a standout—packed with flavor and full-on curry in the best way. Fried shrimp appetizer was solid, though you only get six, so keep that in mind if you’re sharing.

Beer selection was decent—especially if you’re into IPAs, which made up most of the list.

Honestly, the vibe feels like something you’d find in Brooklyn—casual, a little hip, and with food that leans creative without being over the top.

So my biggest issue was the $19 baked potato with brisket and Mac. One slice of brisket. ONE! A spoonful of Mac n cheese and a sprinkle of scallion. I’m not a very big eater and I left hungry. Served on parchment paper that shredded right up and I was picking paper out of each bite. Definitely a local spot for those who like to get their heavy drink on. The flavor was there on the brisket and the Mac. Just not $19 worth! And a dry potato. Don’t know what I expected but not this. Not for me. I’m going to get something to eat so I don’t go to bed hungry.

Cozy, welcoming, top notch customer service. Our Sunday was well spent when we decided to pop by for a late lunch! Their menu is incredibly diverse and comforting with unique items like Venison & Elk chilli, or wild mushroom and truffle naan flatbreads. Quality ingredients & culinary creativity, you won’t be yawning bored when reading this perfectly sized menu. The inside is boosting with bright open concept style & a touch of vintage with unique vinyls & live acoustic music in the bar room. Family & pet friendly so all members of the family can join the good times. Always appreciate a grateful dead fan-ran business! So I ordered the Grateful Red cider, and mom (who doesn’t like beer) tried a Pear Jam cider and loved it!

100/10 we will be back for sure! Can’t wait to return & “listen to the music play..” ❤️⚡

Fun place with great food! The street corn nachos were recommmeded and were delightful (we asked to add pulled chicken to them); highly recommend. We also had the jam burger with chips — my mouth is watering just thinking about it! We also had fun playing giant connect 4 and Jenga while passing some time.

I went on a whim, and was blown away. A few friends had told me to stop by, and figured why not… started off with the beer cheese nachos, and man were they good!!! Then I got the smoked brisket panini, which I thought was an interesting thing to try. And I was astonished on the pure flavor bomb this sandwich was!!! 10 out of 10, will definitely be seeing me again!!!!!

We decided to check this place out after seeing some great online reviews about their food. Our visit did not disappoint! The homemade chips and fries are worth returning for on their own. The poutine was loaded with short rib and super flavorful. I had never had elk before, and their Elk Burger was incredible. The blue cheese Chicken Bites with Mac & Cheese with their maple sweet chili sauce on the side – amazing. The staff was a well oiled machine and super friendly. They went above and beyond to make us feel welcome, and enjoy our visit. We’re looking forward to returning and trying more of their menu.

This place truly has something for everyone, and everything was exceptional. The Mac and cheese was beyond creamy and smoked Gouda permeated every bite. The salads had crispy fresh produce just kissed by homemade dressing. The bean burgers were delicious and crafted with care (vs a typical throw away menu item for vegetarians). Great fries and fried chicken too. But the atmosphere! Kid friendly beyond your wildest dreams. They have an entire box of toys for kids. The musical instruments are open to be played with. You can draw on the walls with chalk. There’s a freaking blow up gaga ball pit in the back along with cornhole. And the beer? So great – our group basically tried the whole menu and they knocked out hazy IPAs, sour blueberry, a nice American lager, along with offering ciders, wine, and mixed cocktails. We planned to stop for a quick bite and beer and ended up spending the afternoon while the kids played and the beats kept the good mood going. Can’t wait for a live music event or to try out the fire pit on a fall evening. Great staff – very friendly, played with our kids, talked to us about the beer selections… You could tell they liked being at work.

We stopped by Jam Room and decided to try the Poutine from Sound Bites. The poutine was delicious and some of the best we had in this area. The cheese was the perfect amount of salty to cut through the richness of the short rib. Everything tasted fresh and we later found everything was handmade and nothing was frozen.

The staff was incredibly friendly and welcoming!

This was the first time here, but we will be back!

THE ATMOSPHERE! This place is so cool . I would love to make it to see a band or something here. Plenty of parking. All around a good time. Even if your not a drinker. The beers were great.

The good and the bad: you have to order your food separately from your beer, so you either have to order online and input a bunch of info, or go to a separate counter.

The elk burger was severely undercooked and soggy (admittedly a whole bus of people had just come in, so they may have rushed my order). I was kind of grossed out after trying a few bites. Nicely, they let me exchange it for a pretzel, so that was appreciated. Still, disappointing food for a decently high price point… Next time, I would just stick with the beer.
