Now, ’bout them k-dogs; I got the classic mozzarella, and whilst it was tasty, I reckon it was just a tad undercooked for my likin’, so next visit, I’m gonna ask ’em to cook it well done, see if that don’t make it perfect. And them sando-es, bless their hearts, the chicken’s the star, but where was the cole slaw, y’all? I mean, I got a sandwich with precious little of that crunchy, creamy goodness. I’d recommend to Hangry Joe’s – and to y’all readin’ this – order extra cole slaw on that sando, ‘kay? It’s the perfect complement to them spicy, crispy chicken tenders.
All in all, Hangry Joe’s, y’all are doin’ somethin’ right. Great heat levels (just maybe a heads-up for us Medium-orderin’ folk), delicious k-dogs (just cook ’em a mite longer, please), and a darn fine chicken sando (just don’t forget the cole slaw, for Pete’s sake!). I’ll be back, and next time, I’ll be ready for the Hot, with extra slaw and a well-done k-dog. Yall got a customer for life! ️
I ordered the chicken sandwich combo and six wings, and everything was on point. The wings were flavorful, and the fries were fresh and hot. Five stars for both quantity and quality.
I highly recommend stopping by and trying their food if you’re in the area. Definitely worth it!
We came by for dinner. They still haven’t fixed the unpleasant sewage smell near the bathrooms. The food was so awful this time. The slaw was drenched, the wings were so bland, the pickles were so thickly-cut, the drinks were flat, and everything fried had an awful smell. They need to get a fresh batch of frying oil. Overpriced for this quality of food. Don’t think I will come back after this experience, regardless of my first experience.

Food was great – The chicken was super hot and fresh off the fryer, and the fries were crispy and seasoned well. The prices were a little high compared to other Nashville hot chicken around DFW, but still within reason.
The one thing that was not attractive was that the bathroom area had a sewage smell.
I will come back for the food!
Compared to other places, the service here was top-notch. The new owner is Korean, super friendly, and easy to talk to, which made the experience even better. Definitely planning to come back with my son regularly.
Oh, and the service? Spot on. Plus, we got a free drink through one of their promos—can’t complain about that.
