I have ordered and eaten a lot of bagels from this Bruegger’s and I am always impressed with the quality. They are delicious. My favorite is the Turkey Chipotle on an Asiago Parmesan bagel.
The interior is lacking in decor and fengshui, and the service can be a little bit slow at times.
I highly recommend this Bruegger’s.

Everything that is frustrating about going out to eat these days. Lots of staff, no one wants to make eye contact, no one wants to take an order, everyone just shuffling around trying to look busy. Girl taking orders has her hat pulled down so far you can’t see her face and mumbles. Took over 10 minutes to order a bagel and cream cheese with 3 people in front of me. Interior looks abandoned, tried to find a napkin and gave up… would not return. Staff is killing this place. Not to mention the tip request on my $4 bagel ranged from $1 to $4. 25%- 100%. That is insulting.

The interior is depressing. They are overstaffed, but somehow slow. Workers just standing around while orders are coming out 20+ minutes late. Then this is quality that comes out. No cream cheese on the vermonteer. Instead of nice bacon strips it’s a handful of broken bits. The schmear on the bagel is like half a schmear. Doesn’t even cover the whole bagel. Fix this store

This was my first time ever at any Bruegger’s Bagels. ( I visited the one on Grand Avenue.) What I wanted was a toasted sesame seed bagel with smoked salmon, plain cream cheese, tomatoes, red onion, and capers and a large latte. This bagel order comes with a plain bagel; so I asked for a toasted sesame seed bagel. I received, very quickly, a delicious toasted sesame seed bagel with the toppings I wanted. The sesame sees bagel was loaded with sesame seeds, and the sandwich was delicious and filling. My latte was pretty good, too. I’m going to order to take home one more sesame seed bagel and an onion bagel along with their veggie cream cheese container. I plan to return and try some of their egg sandwiches! The service was just fine, too.

This Bruegger’s is slow, very dirty and poorly managed.
I’ve never been to this location and NOT seen at least 10 people waiting…and waiting. My scheduled pickup orders are never seen by staff until after I arrive. Then I wait 20+ minutes (every. time.)
There’s trash and boxes everywhere. There’s very little seating/tables and the ones that are present are awkwardly placed.
There’s minimal workers and you can tell they need more staff. The manager needs to do better to support their workers and clean up this Bruegger’s. Woof.

Awful service –
Need a pick up order? Don’t do it, they are unreliable and will tell you “Someone picked up the order, we will make you a new one”. Nobody ever picks up the wrong order!
A bunch of young adults that don’t take their job seriously, and I’m a young adult myself!
They seriously need to get new management to ensure things run smoothly for all parties; customers, staff, and The Bruegger name.
They’re ruining everyone’s day and convenience

Two days before my family brunch, I ordered a dozen bagels on the Brueggers app, to be picked up on Christmas eve. The app asked me what time I want to pick up and offered options. I selected 2:30. On Christmas eve morning, I received an email from Brueggers that my credit card was charged for the bagels. At 2:15, I went into the store and the manager immediately informed me that the store was closed and they didn’t have any bagels for me. When I explained that I had ordered days before and had been billed that morning, they said “that’s the app.” They said I should request a refund. I said Ok, give me a refund. They said I have to use the app. There was never any acknowledgement that “the app” is part of their operation just as much as their employees, and the money goes into their bank account. Treated me like a threat, not a customer. Provided no suggestions to make the situation right. There were two big bags of bagels, apparently the days leftovers, sitting bagged on the counter and a guy apparently about to take them away. I waited until the day after Christmas to call and talk to the manager about this and there was no way to get to a person. The message said to use the web and the app. UPDATE: After going to the contact-us site and providing details of my issue I received a “sorry to hear about this!” email response and instructions for the steps I should take if I wanted a refund. Really. Good to know that Bruegger’s is sorry and that they’re happy to pay me back–for reserved bagels they didn’t provide!–as long as I follow their policies and procedures.

They have shorted me twice on my pick up orders. It sucks that I really need to open the box and count the bagels before I leave.
Update that I did contact Brueggers via the contact us on their website with my order information. They have not responded, my expectations are low.
2nd Update
Customer service did contact me and made it right I have changed my rating to reflect this..

I don’t leave bad reviews and I hope this one isn’t seen as bad, but I have been thibking about my experience for 3 days and finally decided to leave a review. I’m new to the Cathedral Hill neighborhood and was chatting with my daughter while driving through the area on my way back home. I asked my college kid what she wanted me to pick up for her, as she was coming home for X-mas and ahe said Bagels. Then, a block later, I saw your Bruegger’s! How fortuitous, right? I went in, noticing, it was huge, dark and empty, and the clerk asked what I wanted. He was standing in front of the register. Odd because all the ones I’ve been to handle your checkout first to make aure they gdt what yiu want right. I told him I wanted sandwich and a dozen bagels and he rang them up, then went to fill my order. Not only did he get a few of my bagels wrong, he out them all in a single huge box. Garlic, everything, plain, asiago, etc, all in thr same container. This should NEVER HAPPEN. All heavily spiced bagels should go in a seperate bag. Instead, half of the spices were in the bottom of the box, while 1/4 of the spices were stuck in the center of the plain ones and they can’t be eaten with jam. If I’d wanted all savory bagels, I would have ordered all savory bagels and not tried for plain and raisin bagels (no raisins in the box, btw). So, yeah. I didnt get what I ordered that day and were stuck for days with a “variety” of bagels that pretty much all taste the same.
My sandwich was, however, delicious.

This place was insanely busy on a Friday morning when I stopped in. I ordered 30 bagels and they had them done in under 10 mins! Also, I needed an extra box and the team was slammed but the manager came out and folded it up for me and got it right. Great team over here. The gal at cash register was also great with her suggestions!
