What a gem… The atmosphere and staff immediately make you feel so welcome and warm. The drinks are very unique and tasty, surprised they had Guinness on tap and it was up to par. We shared the Caesar salad and the half chicken, so tasty ! You can tell they care in the little details, the menus and coasters are beautiful, they continuously fill your water glass as the evening goes by and are attentive to all your needs. Super clean and cute bathrooms. I’d recommend Lou’s for a date night or a nice dinner out with friends. Special shout out to our talented bar tender Daniel and Ryan who made sure we had exactly what we needed, when we needed it. The manager Jono was super friendly and accommodating; 11/10 !

Went on a Saturday night before what it seemed to be a private event around 8. Tuna carpacio is pretty good and portion is fine but lacking acidity. wolffish(loup de mer) with potatoes is extremely small, we are talking about 50 grams of fish, when it came it felt like an appetizer. Fish portion should be doubled at least to be a sufficient protein portion in a restaurant. Potatoes in that meal not fully cooked through but overall the taste of the dish is very good although too salty. The burger is fine for the price. I feel overall that the food is not memorable although I want it to be especially in the west island, seems juvenile a bit. Cocktails were good. Overall dining experience is good. The service lacks experience and engagement, not up to par with price of food. I’d expect more knowledge and confidence when talking about meals, it is not a bistro. Also servers were all talking behind the bar instead of making sure everyone had what they needed, seems like most tables had empty drinks. Service should always be better than food because that’s what brings up up the value. Overall i like it but the potential of this restaurant is not developped.
Keep going! We want you guys to succeed!

Great restaurant!
We loved everything we tried. Brioche bread with garlic butter, the ravioli and papparedelles, steak, Caesar salad and chocolate cake. All delicious! My favourite was the ravioli.
The service by Hanna and Jacob was exceptional.

Amazing evening at Lou’s. Sat at the bar and was served by the sweetest waitress/bartender ever Haylo! She was amazing. She gave us great recommendations. The food was delicious with amazing presentation and they were very assiduous with the cutlery, plate changes, water, drinks, etc. We highly recommend the tuna carp, the cesar salad, crab cake, the scallops, the brioche, the rigatoni. I forget the name of the desert but like just look at it like unbelievably yum. Seriously great fun cozy vibes, good drinks, good service, amazing food. 10/10 would recommend.

The steak was a ripoff for what it was. No good sear, under-seasoned, no crust, no smokey taste – nothing special at all. We ordered the 23oz steak but honestly, it didn’t seem like it was 23oz. The spaghetti was so bland – it was just pasta and plain tomato sauce that tasted straight out of a jar. The waiter also said it’s goof for 2 people but nope, it was just a normal size meal. The only thing I liked was the chicken parmesan which has good amount of cheese. Their scallops and cheesecake were so-so. The service was also slow.

Service was VERY slow and honestly food was sub par – after waiting over ONE HOUR for Rigatoni and Seabass. Our reservation was at 18:00, when we arrived, the host mentioned how they will have private party at 20:00 and that our dining time was enough. Our food arrived at 19:21. Though they were very fast to bring out the bill.
Pasta was undercooked. Seabass was small! Honestly we did not know why it took that long to cook something very basic.
I don’t know why this restaurant is “hyped”. It was definitely not worth it and we fell on to that trap.

The carrot cake was to die for. I’ve been a couple times to Lou’s and their food always hits the spot. The staff is friendly and attentive. If there’s one restaurant to try in the West Island, it’s definitely Lou’s.

This is a cool upscale place, nice to have in the area. Prices are reasonable and the food is pretty good. I recommend the beef tartare. The cut is by hand into the perfect sized peices so that you know exactly what you’re eating. The tuna carpaccio could do without the spicy mayo. Service was fast, reliable and went the extra mile. The restaurant is a bit small but they have a downstairs private room. Overall I like this place and would give a solid 4.3/5.

Had dinner with some friends. The place was busy and super loud. A bit too loud for me. Justine our waitress was very good. She was friendly and attentive. The crab cake was delicious but wasn’t hot enough. Not sure if it hung around in the back counter before it was brought out to me. The food was a hit. My wife’s salmon was delicious and had a crispiness she appreciated. My half chicken was on the small side despite the description but was buttery and delicious. It sat in a sort of lentil broth that married very well. We all enjoyed our experience minus the volume. Will be back.

Lou’s never disappoints. Kicked things off with some fresh oysters, followed by a hearty and flavorful plate of pasta Genovese—absolutely delicious. The meal ended on a high note with their incredible bread pudding, which is worth the visit on its own. The vibe is always welcoming and relaxed, and the service consistently hits the mark—attentive without being overbearing. While the wine selection isn’t extensive, they always manage to have just the right bottle to complement the meal. A solid go-to spot in Pointe-Claire.
