Looks like my last review was in 2023 and it’s time for a new one… They have since refurbished and it looks a whole lot better inside. They also introduced a decent wine program, even have a wine list – Not sure about their wine service though, I tend to stick with Dr Pepper when I go there. I also tend to stick with either their baked spaghetti or their Buffalo Chicken Sub – Both are amazing!
But today I decided to do something different… I opted for their Tortelloni Campagnola and I sub’d the artichokes for jalapeños. It came out looking AMAZING! It was piping hot, so after giving is a minute to cool slightly I dug in. The sauce was so flavorful… sort of cheese/cream-based with sundried tomato influence – so yummy! The combo of sausage and tortellini was excellent, and adding in the jalapeños gave it all an excellent kick! The cheese-filled tortellini was excellent! It had the right amount of cheese in it and the texture of the pasta was perfect.
The garlic bread that came with the entrees was so very fresh and flavorful!
We’ve always enjoyed our visits to Vinny’s, we typically make them lunchtime visits, but now with their wine and other amazing (non-typical-lunch) items on the menu, it’s time we enjoy them for dinner too!

We’ve been to this Vinny’s many many times over the years and it was decent. The original location in Spotsy was always solid, but it’s too far for very casual Italian food, so this one and the one on 610 are the only options for Vinny’s in Stafford. The one on 610 has been a little inconsistent over the years. This one seems to have recently changed hands and it seems they may have gotten taken over by the family that kinda started all the Italian joints around here and they refurbished it and really improved it. The old, dingey Vinny’s that was covered in fruit flies is no more! This is a new joint with nice, new menus (still all the same stuff on the menu), new tables, floors, colors on the walls and those sagging ceiling fans have been replaced too.
The food on the day I visited was really good! I tried a slice of pizza about a year or more ago and it wasn’t very good, but on this trip I decided to try a cheese slice and it was great! Not as good as my favorite pizza, which is J’s (right around the corner in the same plaza), but it was really good! They had a tricolor pasta dish on their lunch specials menu that I tried and it was really good too. The sausage in it was flavorful and the sauce was excellent! I also got a side salad and it was just “ok,” it definitely wasn’t as good as their side salads used to be (not very fresh lettuce).
Overall, I really enjoyed this experience and I would return.
Staff was friendly and did a good job!
