I’m obsessed with this place. Amazing tacos. Tacos al pastor are my favorite so far, but the tacos Petersburg and tacos chupacabras are also amazing. Fried plantains are delicious. Queso is perfect. Chips are always fresh. My friend loves the birria tacos and my husband raved about his burrito.

We were in town for Rugged Maniac at Virginia Motorsports Raceway down the street about 6 miles. After the race we were starving and we’re headed to a burger joint to try out, but after getting there being immediately turned off, we drove down the street and saw this gem on the side of the road and decided to pull in. HANDS-DOWN, some of the best Mexican food we’ve ever had! The portions were amazing, and the prices were great. We had a wonderful conversation with the very friendly manager, who ended up teaching us some Spanish while waiting for our food – the other staff, including the young men were extremely helpful and friendly. The restaurant was very clean, and very decorative, you can tell they spent some good money on its appearance. Just an all-around excellent experience and excellent food, recommend highly if you live in the area or visiting for a race to stop by here and get some delicious food!

The food was fresh, full of flavor and the family enjoyed it. One of the meals was requested to be free of cheese and sour cream due to a dairy allergy. On the surface, the request was honored. But when it was stirred up, cheese was blended into the bottom of the container. Of course, it couldn’t be eaten. After several unsuccessful attempts to call the restaurant to confirm the mishap, the meal was tossed and money was wasted.

This was the first time I had been to this establishment because me and my wife were looking for something different to eat so I decided to stop here and try them. First thing I noticed is how clean the place was and that is a big plus for me and they did not disappoint me. The food was delicious hot fresh the waiter was friendly and though they had to switch to someone who could understand what I was saying it was still very cordial and it was a lot of food so to the point I had to get trays to take it home. Soooo if you are looking for something different that is the go to because they have authentic Mexican food and trust me we will be back
