The food here is absolutely delicious. Mole will steal the show but there are other typical Mexican dishes that are absolutely worth it. I personally had chilaquiles with fried eggs and was delighted by the balance of the sauce. We had some traditional pastries for starters which were filled with cream and chocolate, both were delicious.

The only mild disappointment was their coffee, which was brewed rather carelessly and ended up giving a very weak cup.

I would however recommend this place to whomever is visiting Puebla. This breakfast was a delicious and I can’t wait to be back.

First, we are from out of town and love exploring new places, we didn’t have a reservation and they had a long wait time of 2 hours, which we didn’t mind since we heard good things about this restaurant. However, the both female hostess were rude, and acted as if you were bothering them, the the young lady at the store which sells mole from Puebla and other items was rude aswell and didn’t address us as we walked into the empty store but addressed a gentleman who walked in shortly after us. We finally got seated, our waiter was just as condescending as everyone else we encountered that worked there. I asked for a purse hook on multiple occasions, never received it but the other tables that were sat after us did. There was a bottle of water on the table I asked for 2 glasses for the water, we didn’t get them until our food arrived. When our food arrived, we were delighted with the presentation of the Chiles nogados which were 570 pesos. However, the presentation was the only thing good about this establishment. We personally didn’t care for the chile, it was sweet and more of a dessert than a dinner plate. We also ordered the chalupas de mole which were 3 bite sized tortilla with a string of chicken and mole sauce for 100 pesos. The mole was very good and for me personally the 3 mini chalupas was just enough. Over all the establishment is beautiful but over rated filled with employees who don’t know how to value customers. It’s worth mentioning that while we waited for our table, we had tacos across the street at Tacos el Pastor and were treated completely different and their food was great.

This hotel restaurant turned out to be one of our nicest experiences as far as service and atmosphere. The declarations were really nice especially all of the talavera dishes, all matching. Eating off of these amazing dishes made everything better.
My first Pizole was a great treat. Maybe a bit too hard for me to finish but I really enjoyed it. As I’m not an officionado, I won’t comment on how great it was. Hot chocolate on the other hand was rated and 11 out of 10 by my daughter.
The enmoladas were beautiful. A lot of sweet mole. Nicely done tortillas. Slightly seasoned chicken. Very very light picante, but a bit too much for my daughter’s gringo palate. If you love a sweet dark rich mole and a lot of it then this is the dish for you.
I had the Picaditas which to me seemed like an upscale chalupa. Three different toppings. Guacamole was amazing. For me, I really love this dish. Not too much pecante for me, but a little bit too much for my daughter.
No problem with getting filtered water here. Everything was great. We really love this restaurant.

The best Mole Poblano I’ve ever had! I’ve had a lot of mole, having lived here years ago for to years. The flavor was spectacular! Sweet, spicy, and savory. The chicken was tender and the blue tortillas were an excellent touch to the meal. My wife had the Pepiana Duet and that was also very good. We capped it with some Helado de Fruta Mamey – delicious!

Really liked it! Love that they offer the mole sampler and we able to do a vegetarian version for me (perfectly steamed veggies under the amazing sauces). Surprisingly, my favorite thing was the fresh cream that comes with the house salsas.
The salad was nice and Mexican white wine as well. I would gladly return.

A beautiful building, with great service and the most amazing food! We started with some chalupas that were probably the best thing I’ve had in Mexico, followed by elotes (also amazing) and then a mole poblano and a pipián. Highly recommend!

I can not say anything about the food and service. It was super good. The ambiance and the decorations are very pleasant and there are places to buy handicraft.
We had breakfasted and the food was very good specially the pastries and bread were baked in house. Warm and fresh.
The only point which maybe they want to improve is their reservation team which were not responsive by phone and second not very polite when we asked for table and couple of unsuccessful try to make the reservation

This place is quite famous for its chile en nogada. If not worldwide, it is known as a national spot to try this Mexican dish, chile en nogada. Made only around September to celebrate its Independence Day.
The chile is good, but we thought it was not espectacular, even so, a dish you must try.
It is well served, we couldn’t make it to dessert.
