My husband and I, along with some friends, visited this place last night — and wow, what an incredible surprise! The atmosphere was amazing, full of great energy and cozy vibes. The customer service was outstanding, the drinks were fantastic, and the food was absolutely unforgettable.
I ordered the chicken hen special, and honestly, I don’t think anyone could make it better — it was that delicious! The only downside was that my husband accidentally left my leftovers behind, but the silver lining is that we live just six minutes away, so we’ll definitely be back soon.
Highly recommend this place — it will truly blow your mind!

Not sure why it took so long to visit! I have heard great things about this place and don’t live too far away but just tried it for the first time. It was awesome. Difficult to pick on their selection of tasty descriptions! We ended up asking Sierra (our waitress) for recommendations & were happy with the outcome! #1 recommendation was the nachos. I was reluctant because it has gouda cheese sauce instead of grated cheese and kettle chips instead of tortilla chips. But oh my, they were DELICIOUS!! Who knew?! Unique & yummy! We also had the Mac & cheese, salad and loaded potatoes + beers. Lovely atmosphere (we sat outside on the back), superb service & looking forward to trying more items on the menu SOON!

Came here for the first time with a coworker and had such a great experience that I’ve already been back two or three times since. Every visit has been amazing.
Jake the bartender is seriously the best — great conversation, great energy, and consistently awesome service. He always makes the experience feel welcoming and fun.
The food is great, the atmosphere is solid, and the staff always makes sure we’re taken care of. This place quickly became a go-to for me. Highly recommend Lake City Pub!

We come here all the time. The food is always top tier, and the live music makes the restaurant more unique and inviting. The music isn’t so loud that you can’t hear your friends either. The brisket pot pie is my favorite menu item. The reason I gave the Atmosphere a 2-star rating is because the ventilation in the place is nonexistent. The smoke and smells from the kitchen fill the entire place to the point where I have seen patrons leave due to it. Not to mention your clothes end up smelling so bad when you leave. If they fixed the vent issues in the kitchen, they would have 5 stars all around.

Good food, good drinks, and great service. I had the Brisket Shepard’s pie, which honestly is a bit strange if you are used to a traditional version. It was tasty, but I would definitely prefer a less fancy dish…I went into it with high expectations, and it didn’t quite get there. The brisket by itself is delicious, combo here kinda takes away from how good the brisket is.
The salad that came with it was good, and very fresh tasting. Crisp. Not over dressed. A good pairing with the Shepard’s pie also.

The Famous pub burger is dripping in flavor. It’s absolutely mouth watering. The size of this burger is staggering and intimidating. The potato wedges are really tasty and the the dipping sauce that’s included tastes like a mix of honey mustard and ranch…I’m probably way off, but dang it if it’s not good.

We were lucky enough to catch a live band that added the perfect vibe to our night. The atmosphere was electric, and it made for an incredible experience.
Our server was a standout—he was not only funny but also incredibly thoughtful. When we asked for more carrots, he went above and beyond and brought us a generous portion, which we truly appreciated.
Thanks to Lake City Pub, my wife and I had one of our best nights ever. We can’t wait to come back for more delicious food, great drinks, and that stunning view! Highly recommended!

Truly, an absolute 5 star experience! We went late December and it was decorated stunningly. Best jalapeno poppers I’ve had in MY LIFE. Delicious drinks, fabulous service, we will be back for sure. I’ve never been so wowed by a pub, EVER!

We shared appetizers and drinks and everything was great! The lights and decor are so much fun and it’s very cozy. They have board games and heated outdoor seating too Definitely a fun place to go in Lakewood if you want to just kick back and have a couple drinks without all the craziness.

Lake City Pub is a great local spot. I was first alerted to the pub via a social media suggestion post. I was so surprised and impressed to read that they only carry local (as in Pierce County only) beers and ciders on tap. We enjoyed an amazing lunch. The hubby had the Cherry smoked meatloaf that was also wrapped in bacon. The meal was served over mashed potatoes and with a side of seasonal vegetables. The vegetables were braised Brussels sprouts. I had the Ruben sandwich and substituted the clam chowder for the chips. The chowder was flavorful and had ample clams. It was thinner than a typical chowder, but the flavor was on point. The Ruben was one of the best I have ever had. I was pleased to find thick slices of tender corned beef brisket on my sandwich. The sauerkraut, dressing, and cheese balanced the whole thing. We followed lunch with a slice of chocolate mousse cake. The staff were friendly and attentive. Food was served quickly. Our water was always full. We will definitely be back.
