Great place for Yay Area Katz (M&F) born in the 50’s/60’s/70’s to stroll back down memory lane and reminisce of nostalgic places in ValleyJo and all of NorCal! Catch up with old friends and make new friends and acquaintances in a comfort foodery joint with traditional breakfast plates! A very hospitable crew of hosts and management! Finally had time to check this place out in person after the menu online is Nothing of what they offer.
Which is so frustrating after you find something delicious to try and call in your order only to be told that they dont carry that item.
So we go in person yesterday. The place is unremarkable at best. Typical restaurant with bland boring every other place has with diner decor. Nothing home made or any resemblance of uniqueness.
Food was typical diner food nothing to write home about.
Really just bland and boring.

Lovely local Mom-like style restaurant. Most Welcoming. Stopped for a late breakfast with my sister and we couldn’t finish the scrumptious offerings. Lucky our appetites will enjoy the leftovers.

A bomb patty melt, fries and coffee. Patty melt was super cheesy, fries were a step above what I expected, and coffee had refills. Everyone in here had the at ease vibes you see when you’re in a community restaurant. These places are getting harder and harder to find! I’ll definitely be back!

It’s a small mom & pops dinner that serves affordable delicious food. I recommend getting the Joe’s special and a side of biscuits and gravy. Awesome service from our waitress. My coffee cup was never empty. 10/10
