A hidden gem. Thoughtfully curated tea selection that shows real care—this place isn’t chasing profit margins like a sugar-filled soulless chain. It’s warm, relaxed, and sincere. Great for a quiet moment, with good tea and good vibes.

Omg! I got the boozy hot chocolate thinking I’d get one to drink on the way home and have one later tonight… Drank both before I even made it to the train. Absolutely delicious! And the staff is always sweet and friendly, the store neat and clean and they have samples of the dried tea to smell. I love this place!

Started coming here recently wanting to try somewhere new. the staff here are so friendly! It’s not like Starbucks or Dunkin. Here they make you feel so welcome and make sure you’re taken care of. Def my new favorite go-to coffee spot. There’s also WiFi and decent seating area good to get some work done. They play great music as well very nice overall atmosphere

Great local community gathering spot for tea, coffee and a variety of unique beverages. Love the specialty teas! Friendly and attentive staff. Tea sampling was educational and fun. Learned about and tasted oolong, jasmine and black teas. Joan is an engaged owner and excellent resource for the health benefits of the teas sold in the store. Support local tea and coffee businesses and you support the local economy. Must go!

Being new to the neighborhood, we were happy to find this close and convenient little coffee shop! The coffee drinks are quite good and so is the pastry selection, including our gluten free preferences. Today was our first time in so I can’t say it’s the rule, but as for the service, hmmm. Maybe it’d been a long day or they were tired. No smile. No hi, how are you, and certainly no sense of urgency getting our drinks out. Quite the opposite. It took forever for a Pumpkin Spice Latte and an Americano. The other staff, the female drink-maker was more interested in chatting up her colleague and even gave me a snarky reply when I asked if a drink which was waiting was mine. I’ll go back cuz it’s close to my apartment and I like the food and drink, but “the jury’s out” on the service!

Having recently moved into White Plains, I’ve been checking out local businesses near my apartment. A few days ago I noticed the Hastings Tea & Coffee cafe on Main Street and couldn’t help but appreciate how happy their customers limbed who were seated at their outside tables enjoying their drinks. I decided that I had to drop by for an almond latte. When I walked into the cafe I was surprised to see that in addition to the impressive coffee, tea and desserts, they also sold bottles of wine snd even have a wine of the month club! While I was there, I watched how dedicated the staff was in helping their other customers and when I asked Jay if he could help me buy a bottle of wine, he suggested I speak to Bill who was more educated on their wines. After spending about twenty minutes learning about their wines, I ended up purchasing a Spanish from Portugal and a red from France.
I’m Not a connoisseur if wines but my friends were blown away by my selection and while I had only gone into the cafe for their coffee, I had discovered a great new go to place for wine too!

The noncoffee drinks are not good. Aside from the boozy hot chocolate they did in winter – THAT was good! I’m a matcha and hot tea person. The matcha drinks are garbage and the hot teas taste like nothing but hot water. Sad.

Great coffee. I like the dark roast the best. Service is excellent! The place has a great vibe to it, warm and friendly. I’ve tried all the sit down ‘cafe type’ coffee shops in White Plains and Hastings T&C is the best. The teas look great too and I’ve heard good things about them but i have not tried them yet.
