Lots of flavors! Been here twice and food is always good. I’ve had the butter chicken and fry dal. I recommend the garlic naan and parotta to go with your meal.

The only place for having authentic South Indian food in Bentonville. Dosa, idly sambhar, uttappam and medu vada are absolutely amazing. The chutney they serve with it especially the coconut one are the best. I’ve been eating at this place since 3 years now and they have been consistent with the quality and taste of the food which is rare to find.

Best Indian food in the area! Everything was so good! My favorite is all the dosas, especially the egg dosa. I’ve had the prawn masala, channa, aloo, idli, mango lassi, pani puri when they have it on special. The chili cauliflower was so amazing and I’ve never had it before. I try to visit here anytime I’m in the area. Truly cannot stress enough how much I recommend this place. They even made many dishes vegan to accommodate someone in our party.

This place has a good positive vibe thanks to staff for keeping that way. Best Idly Vada and Pongal in town. I am giving a 5 star review after coming down regularly every week at least twice and as a past restaurant owner myself I can guarantee you the food served here is fresh, delicious and safe for your gut. May be you have to work on your chutneys a bit they are average. Please serve coffee in the morning and serve them in filter glass. Hope you guys maintain this consistency and move closer to the Walmart new office building and expand your space and service and keep it open longer. Future is bright for this restaurant and lot of space to grow.

This place is always crowded … That tells you how good it is. Our go-to place for a light (or heavy) meal. This place is the closest we have to a proper Tamil Nadu cuisine restaurant. All the other Indian restaurants in NWA taste pretty much the same, no variety! Chola Cafe stands out for consistently maintaining their standards in terms of service, food quality, flavor, and authenticity.
We love the dosas here (ALL of them) and their Kaju Paneer with Naan is a family favorite. The perfect starter is Chennai Podi Idly. Dang! It’s 8 in the morning and I’m already hungry.

I think I’ll stop now. But you get the drift … Add this place to your favorites and you won’t regret it.

My wife and I are huge fans of Indian cuisine, and Chola had been on our radar for a while, with her nudging me to check it out. Our expectations were high, thanks to our Indian neighbors who share their incredible homemade dishes. Walking into Chola, the vibe was distinct—lively and a bit chaotic, but in a good way. There’s no dedicated host; the staff works as a team, and you grab a menu from the counter or scan a QR code that prompts you to download the Chola app.

Once seated, you’re set up with a pitcher of water, glasses, silverware, and napkins. If you’re familiar with Indian dining, the casual, hands-on eating style (my favorite part ) feels authentic. The app offers helpful dish photos, which we appreciated. The place was packed, with a steady stream of customers ordering at the counter, keeping the front staff on their toes. After browsing the menu, we settled on chicken varutha, mutton Rogan Josh, dosa, samosas, and two types of naan—garlic and green chili. Most dishes come with steamed white rice. (See attached photos for our picks.)

One person said they’d be back to take our order, and noticing the “self-service” sign and the bustling atmosphere, I decided to place our order at the counter using the app to show our selections—pronouncing the dishes isn’t my forte. They were out of samosa chaat, so we got regular samosas, which we devoured. They were crispy, fresh, and paired perfectly with two sauces—one savory, one sweet (I loved mixing them). The main dishes arrived soon after. The mutton Rogan Josh was aromatic, tender, and flavorful, though I’d have liked a bit more meat. It paired beautifully with the naan. The chicken varutha had a spicy kick, especially with the peppers, and my wife and I both loved it, so I let her have the lion’s share. The garlic naan was a standout—hot, fresh, and perfect with the curries. The dosa, new to me, was a thin, crepe-like dish served with three sauces: a yogurt dip and two curry-style gravies. It was fun to tear and dip, though we saved it for after the mains due to table space. We noticed others enjoying specialty drinks, which we’ll try next time.

Chola’s hustle-and-bustle vibe, reminiscent of an authentic Indian eatery, was a highlight. It’s not your typical restaurant setup, but that’s part of the charm. The food quality, paired with reasonable prices, makes Chola a winner. It’s now our go-to spot for Indian cuisine. Chola is —go try it!

Excellent taste and freshly prepared food. Even the Chai was excellent. In my opinion, prices were reasonable. This is a classic stop for us when visiting Bentonville. The tables are clean and staff is pleasant. Telugu and Tamil songs playing in the background at all times – very nostalgic vibe and a gem to have in this area

I thought this place was great! Brought my date here tonight and she said out of all the Indian places we’ve tried she like this one the most! If my date like it, then yours would too! So bring you date here for a great food experience! I really like the flavor of the chicken masala. Oh plus you have to try the garlic Naan. It’s pretty awesome!
