Since 1950, Whataburger has proudly served a bigger, better burger. It all started when a young entrepreneur named Harmon Dobson had a bold idea: to serve a burger so big that it took two hands to hold, and so good that after a single bite customers couldn’t help but exclaim, “What a burger!” He named his humble burger stand in Corpus Christi, Texas, “Whataburger.” Over six decades later, we’re still family owned and operated. Each and every Whataburger® is still made to order. We still use 100% pure beef and serve it on a big, toasted five-inch bun. And now, as we proudly serve burgers, chicken, salads and breakfast at more than 800 Whataburger locations across the country, that first burger stand is still close to our hearts.

I’m usually not the type to say anything negative about fast food restaurants…but this is absolutely diabolical, I ordered a patty melt meal and my fries was okay but when it came to my burger the meat wasn’t done at all……I thought maybe I was seeing things but no it was pink. The cashier attitude was very arrogant and a bit of rude. Overall my food is usually good with this Whataburger but tonight was just not their not I guess.

We used to love Whataburger burgers! We stopped in just shortly before noon today and our experience was just awful. The buns were big & dry & had a weird taste. The burger meat was overcooked/dry….and Small!! We took a few bites & threw the rest away. YUCK!!!!
The French fries were very good.

Hit the drive-thru this morning around 10am. Placed my order and paid. The lady at the windows was very nice, made sure I had everything I needed before I left. The food was PERFECT. Burger was made to my request. Fries were hot and crispy. I got my spicy ketchup and Dr Pepper no ice! This is Whataburger. I appreciate everyone working there. Thank you for the great meal!

We stopped for lunch while we were on vacation in Gulf Shores. We love Whataburger and do not have any back home in Saint Louis so we were looking forward to eating here. We don’t usually eat in for fast food but we decided to today. We were instantly greeted with a hearty hello and a patient order taker. Our order was up quick and delivered with a smile. Our order was right and good. It was 1pm so we were at the end of lunch rush. If I am being picky the burger and fries could have been a little hotter but it was doable. My wife and I ordered a #1 with cheese. They were good as usual. We also ordered the wings sweet and spicy. The wings were good and the sauce was just as described. All and all we had a good visit and the staff was great. One thing that lowered our dinning experience was what I think was the manager sitting at a dinning table across from the counter with his laptop. That was not the issue but he was loudly managing from his table while drinking his monster. He also seemed to be interrupting his employees while they were on their break. This might all be normal but it aggravated me being an hourly employee myself. The manager was nice and thanked us for visiting on our way out. This trip to Whataburger for us just didn’t do it.

First time trying this place. Food was good for fast food! One employee was doing a check around the drink lids and held up our family of 7 as we had to wait on her to finish to get our drinks. Other than that, it was good. Also, it was night to eat a burger at 9:30 in the morning to start our road trip.

Left Orlando and came to Alabama to visit my dad, saw the Whataburger and was so excited…. Everyone DO NOT waste your time… The only savings grace of that place was Brandon who took our order, however the kitchen and management drop the ball … Kitchen screw our order and no one wanted to make it right…. It was a simple hashbrown sticks.. the worse part is that I could have just left and not cared to write this review, but the kitchen was so busy talking about how they are much better than McDonald’s and how they have actual meat instead of “horse meat” if you going to have time to disrespect other businesses. you should make sure your business is as good as it can be….. On the bright side, there is a Five Guys next door, so give them your money as they will respect you and other.

You deserve 0 stars. 45 minutes in the drive thru to get food. We even had to pull forward to wait on our food however the person behind us who ordered $100 worth of food got his first. How do I know it was $100? Because when we pulled up to pay that what they said our total was so they had the wrong order to start. Food really is not that good to wait 45 minutes in a drive thru.
